Hic—Daehyun let out a hiccup. Yejun’s eyes narrowed as she stared deeply into Tian’s face, her pupils trembling. Kihyeon was equally shocked; he held his cold hands, chilled by the air conditioning blowing directly on him. And Tian? He remained calm, sitting upright as if nothing had happened.
"You have... Azoospermia?” Daehyun asked. Tian shrugged his shoulders. It was incredibly irritating.
A single tear fell down Yejun’s cheeks, first from the right, then the left, as she sobbed uncontrollably. Klak, the door to the room opened. The pregnancy check-up session was over. Wait—what just happened?
Three years ago, more precisely when Tian was in his first year of high school, he faced serious trouble because of slander. As I mentioned before, Tian used to cause problems often. Song Yejun, a student who had just graduated from high school, had never been interested in men her whole life—until she met Tian, her junior. Yejun already had a boyfriend, Daehyun, who was eight years older, but she didn’t love him at all.
One time, Yejun and her friends tried to trap Tian into being with Yejun. Here’s what happened: Yejun threatened Tian to start a relationship with her. However, the plan failed—Tian wasn’t intimidated at all. But at the right moment, Daehyun showed up and questioned what was going on. Yejun slandered Tian, claiming that Tian had taken her to a deserted building to be with her. Of course, Tian denied it, but Daehyun already knew Tian as a troublemaker. So, Daehyun’s reason for believing the slander felt convincing.
However, the rumor never reached the school, thanks to Tian’s father’s money. Yejun thought that after marrying Daehyun, she would come to love him. But she was wrong. Instead, she found herself dreaming about Tian every night. Daehyun, noticing this, became angry with Yejun and threatened to divorce her. Yet again, she slandered Tian, claiming that Tian was tormenting her using black magic. Perhaps blinded by love, Daehyun believed Yejun and wanted to confront Tian.
And so, they came to the hospital insisting on booking an appointment with Dr. Tian. They weren’t there to check the pregnancy but to confront Tian over the harsh slander. Don’t worry—they’ve cleared everything up now. Yejun’s eyes were swollen from crying, while an angry Daehyun, indifferent to his wife’s state, left the hospital.
