My Second Life Is OverPower [VOL_1]

Chapter 10 - The Journey

Chapter 10 - The Journey

Jul 19, 2025

Slowly, Syura moved away from the Northern Black Forest that had been split apart, the traces of battle still visible.

Syura headed toward the guild with a body bruised from the battle.

But...

Syura activated a high-level self-recovery skill and healed his wounds.

[Skill High Healing: Active]

"With this, no one will be suspicious of me."

Syura continued his journey toward the guild.

Meanwhile, on the other side—

The One Guild was still confused by the event that had just occurred.

"What exactly happened?"

"What do you think, Lord Exiel?" said Elena.

Exiel used a long sword and had red hair mixed with black, wearing a red cloak with black accents.

"I don't quite understand."

"This event is very strange," said Exiel.

Elena asked Exiel to investigate it.

"Lord Exiel, it's best if you investigate this yourself," said Elena.

"You're right, Elena."

"But I won’t go alone," said Exiel.

Then, Exiel went up to the second floor.

There was a beautiful woman wearing a green dress with red and white flower ornaments.

She also used a long sword just like Exiel.

"Tapp... tapp... tapp..." the sound of Exiel's footsteps going up to the second floor.

Then Exiel started the conversation.

"Farah, something quite strange has happened."

"A cross-continental threat mission was completed in just one minute."

Farah sat calmly while sipping her tea.

"You're still surprised by that?"

"For The One Guild, cross-continental level missions are just minor tasks."

"Our guild is not like the others," said Farah casually while sipping hot tea.

"But the nearest guild is the weakest," said Exiel.

Farah stood up from her seat and placed her tea down.

"Don’t worry, every guild has its own way," she said while gently touching Exiel's shoulder.

Back to Syura, who was now standing in front of the guild door.

"Finally, I've made it back here," said Syura.

Syura stepped inside the guild, slowly opening the door.

"Tapp... tapp... tapp..." the sound of Syura’s footsteps approaching the guild entrance.

"Krekk..." the sound of the door slowly opening.

The guild atmosphere was still lively, filled with chatter about what had happened.

"What’s going on? It’s much busier than usual," said Syura.

Silvia immediately stood up and ran toward Syura.

"Tapp... tapp... tapp..." Silvia's footsteps.

"Are you okay?"

"Are you hurt?"

"Are you..." said Silvia—

Syura interrupted her.

"Calm down... Silvia... calm down."

"I'm fine, really. I'm totally okay."

"I was just closing a refrigerator at an old lady’s house near the Northern Black Forest."

"The door got stuck, so I fixed it a bit," said Syura casually.

Then...

"Didn’t you feel that power?"

"You were really close to that place," said Silvia.

"Of course, I felt it."

"My body was trembling and shivering."

"I even hid behind that old lady," said Syura.

Silvia calmed down upon hearing that.

"Alright, I’ll return to my post then."

Then Syura stopped her, as he had something to say.

"Wait, Silvia..."

"There’s something I want to talk about," said Syura.

"What is it, Syura?" asked Silvia.

Then, with a serious tone and strong resolve, Syura said:

"I’m going to leave and level up."

"I’ll come back when I’m stronger."

"Please tell the Master," said Syura.

Silvia was shocked.

"W-why? Are you not comfortable here?" asked Silvia.

"It’s not that. I just want to get to know the outside world," said Syura firmly.

"Alright, if that’s really your decision."

"I won’t stop you," said Silvia.

"Thank you, Silvia," said Syura.

Then Silvia left Syura.

Syura headed toward the guild’s exit.

"Tapp... tapp... tapp..." the sound of Syura’s footsteps walking toward the exit.

Syura stepped outside.

As soon as Syura set foot on the ground, suddenly dark clouds gathered, lightning struck, and gravity around him became heavy.

Suddenly, with a movement faster than lightning—

"Sringggggg"

"Duuuummm"

The sound of a sword swing and a punch aimed directly at Syura.

Syura only slightly tilted his body to the left.

"So it’s you guys," said Syura casually.

"So you're really leaving, Syura," said Drake.

"Go, and surpass me," said Gyuta.

"Goodbye."

"Someday, I will return."

Syura walked away from the guild and began a new adventure.

Syura was an ordinary young man living a life without any major problems. His days were filled with relaxing activities, especially playing his favorite RPG games. His life was almost perfect—stress-free, drama-free, and without any grand ambitions.

But everything changed because of one simple request from his parents: “Buy some groceries.”
Syura refused—obviously, it was a waste of gaming time! But in the end, he lazily went anyway.

The trip there went smoothly. But on the way back, a ridiculous twist of fate awaited him.
On the 15th floor of an apartment building, a mother was watering her plants. Unexpectedly, two stray cats began fighting right next to a large flower vase. One push—and the vase went flying down.

And at the most “unlucky” moment in human history... Syura was walking right beneath it.

A loud bonk, darkness, and a hospital—and then... death.

But death was not the end for Syura.
