My Second Life Is OverPower [VOL_1]

Chapter 11 - Dungeon

Chapter 11 - Dungeon

Jul 19, 2025

Syura followed the path and moved away from the guild, then rested for a moment under a tree while eating an apple and grilled fish given by Valmila.

“I’d better have breakfast first,” said Syura.

While Syura was enjoying his meal under the tree,

Suddenly, two adventurers passed by in front of him.

One used a bow and arrow, not too big in build, with black hair.

The other wielded a sword, tall and large-bodied, with gray hair.

“That dungeon has no end,” said the adventurer with the bow and arrow.

“You’re right, for years now, no adventurer has found the end of that dungeon,” said the adventurer with the sword.

Then, they simply walked away from Syura’s sight.

Syura, still sitting under the tree:

“A dungeon with no end?”

“Interesting,” said Syura.

Syura opened a blue holographic panel and activated a skill:

[Skill Scanning Zone: Active]

A few seconds after activating the skill, several dungeons near Syura appeared, but one of them was strange.

“All these dungeons are green.”

“Except one... it’s red,” said Syura.

After finishing his food, he continued his journey.

“Looks like I’ll explore that dungeon,” said Syura.

Syura walked toward the dungeon, following a path to the south; everything went smoothly without any obstacles.

When Syura arrived in front of the dungeon entrance, he saw a doorway covered in moss and sealed with wooden planks, with a sign that read Do Not Enter.

“So this is that dungeon.”

“The endless dungeon.”

Syura stepped forward toward the dungeon entrance.

Suddenly, a holographic notification appeared:

[Endless Dungeon]
[Number of Floors: Unknown]
[Difficulty Level: Unknown]

Syura gave a slight smile, his eyes sharp and his aura surging.

He removed the wooden planks covering the dungeon entrance, and slowly stepped inside.

“Crakkk” — the sound of wood being pulled away.

“Tapp... tapp... tapp...” — Syura’s footsteps entering the dungeon.

He saw mossy stone walls that looked ancient, with a slightly fishy and pungent smell.

“This place looks really old.”

“If I explore every single floor, it will take time,” said Syura.

Syura activated a skill to assess the surroundings:

[Skill Scanning Room: Active]

Immediately, a holographic notification appeared in front of Syura:

[Number of Enemies: 1,000,000,000]
[Recommended Rank: N]
[Number of Floors: 999]

“I figured it would take time.”

Then, without hesitation, Syura activated his All In One skill.

[Skill All In One]
[Infinite Shadow: Active]
[God Step: Active]
[God Speed: Active]
[One Slash: Active]

With lightning-fast movements, floor after floor was cleared effortlessly by Syura.

Now Syura stood on the nine hundred and ninety-eighth floor.

A holographic notification appeared:

[Skill Eyes of Infinity: Unlocked]
[Skill Infinity Slash: Unlocked]
[Skill God Slash: Unlocked]
[Skill Global Scanning: Unlocked]

“More absurd skills unlocked again.”

“Now, only one floor left,” said Syura.

Slowly, Syura descended the stairs to the floor below.

When Syura reached the final floor—

He saw a red room, walls flowing with flames and lava, the atmosphere scorching, the air itself seemed to burn the skin.

Suddenly, a giant figure appeared, his robe covered in fire and lava streams, his gaze blazing like roaring flames.

A deep red aura surrounded his body, a sword of black and red with skull accents.

“I can feel the presence of my rival…”

“Kravon, the Eternal Ice King,” said the figure in a chilling voice.

Then a notification appeared in front of Syura:

[Shosu: Eternal Flame King]
[Threat Level: Cross-Continental]
[Recommended Rank: N]

“Another high-level threat,” said Syura.

Then...

“So you’re the one who killed my eternal rival.”

“I’m not as weak as he was,” said Shosu.

Shosu unleashed his full power.

“ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”

A roar of rage from Shosu, light burst upward through the floors to the first.

Outside the dungeon, the ground shook violently, the land around it cracked, the dungeon entrance sealed.

Undetected by global systems, as the location was deep within the Earth.

Inside the dungeon—

The surrounding room began to collapse, lava started flowing, the entrance to the lower floor sealed.

There was no way out.

Shosu completely transformed—his armor glowed, the floor beneath him melted slightly, horns and a crown of fire emerged.

His skull-themed sword was wrapped in flowing lava and thick red aura.

“Come at me, boy.”

“You are far too weak for me,” said the chilling voice that filled the room.

Syura gave a slight smile, then activated a skill:

[Skill Eyes of Infinity: Active]

“Your every move will be read... even before you make it,” said Syura, his aura surging wildly.

Then Syura drew the Ice Sword and the dagger he obtained from Kravon.

“These sword and dagger... will slice you to nothing.”

[Skill Ice Slash: Active]

Syura charged at Shosu and struck him.

Before Shosu could retaliate, Syura already knew where he would attack.

“Vanish from in front of me... and appear behind,” said Syura.

As predicted, Shosu disappeared from Syura’s front and used a skill:

[Slash of Fire]

But...

[Skill God Step: Active]

Syura vanished from Shosu’s sight.

The sword and dagger Syura held were already at Shosu’s neck—Syura was ready to slash.

“TOO SLOW!! FAR TOO SLOW!!”

“SRAHHHHH!”

Without hesitation, Syura slashed Shosu’s neck.

“Y-you…”

“Getting closer… to hell…” said Shosu as his voice slowly faded.

Then a holographic notification appeared:

[Shosu - Eternal King: Successfully Defeated]

“Hell again…” Syura muttered.

[Dropped Items]
[Eternal Flame Dagger]
[Eternal Flame Ring]

“Not bad, I’d better keep these.”

Suddenly, something opened in front of Syura.

“Creaaaaak” — the sound of stone opening.

“What’s that door?”

“What awaits me inside?” said Syura.

Syura stepped in—each step blended ice and fire, a blinding blue aura mixed with bright red surging around him.

Syura was an ordinary young man living a life without any major problems. His days were filled with relaxing activities, especially playing his favorite RPG games. His life was almost perfect—stress-free, drama-free, and without any grand ambitions.

But everything changed because of one simple request from his parents: “Buy some groceries.”
Syura refused—obviously, it was a waste of gaming time! But in the end, he lazily went anyway.

The trip there went smoothly. But on the way back, a ridiculous twist of fate awaited him.
On the 15th floor of an apartment building, a mother was watering her plants. Unexpectedly, two stray cats began fighting right next to a large flower vase. One push—and the vase went flying down.

And at the most “unlucky” moment in human history... Syura was walking right beneath it.

A loud bonk, darkness, and a hospital—and then... death.

But death was not the end for Syura.
