LEAVE : The Shadow's Behind

LEAVE Part 18

LEAVE Part 18

Oct 15, 2025

Elliot wasn't around the next morning when Skoll and Tonka walked outside. His bike was still there so he hadn't left in the middle of the night. Plus the two of them would have heard it if he rode off. It took a few moments before they saw Elliot jogging up the parking lot. He had gone for a run. He wanted to go for one last night but he didn't know the area and it felt safer running in the daylight so he got up at the crack of dawn. Not that he slept the night before.

"Give me ten minutes." Elliot stated to Tonka, not looking at Skoll as he headed into his room.

Skoll walked off to the office for something to eat. He had seen this place had a continental breakfast. In this case it meant stale doughnuts, which he ate three off. The third was out of anger as he watched Elliot talk to Tonka before he got waved to come on.

* * * * *

It was a few days later while Elliot had gone to the bathroom, Tonka leaned over and nudged Skoll.

"How long is he going to be pissed at you?"

"The fuck if I know." Skoll smirked, "He's not just pissed at me. He's pissed at you too. He's just being cordial because of your position."

Tonka was the one that told him he had to come. Tonka was the one that said he needed Skoll.

"Funny." Huffed Tonka as Elliot walked back over, finishing off the rest of his beer and laying a few bills on the table for their meal before heading to the door.

"Told you. Not just me he's pissed at."

Tonka grabbed Skoll from walking off, "Fix it before we get there. I can't have the two of you mad at each other. We have other things to be focused on. And I need you in line."

Skoll's jaw clicked, "I don't need a fucking leash holder. I can control myself."

At least he felt that he could control himself. He did feel that things were different now. He has Elliot in his life. Well he had Elliot in his life. He didn't need the Omega. He hadn't thought about the Omega since he last blew up at Tonka over it. However, the fact that everyone seemed to believe that he was better with Elliot started to seep doubts into his mind. Could he not control himself without Elliot?

* * * * *

Elliot couldn't believe the pressure that was put on him. He didn't have any more control over Skoll than anyone else did. He wasn't a fan of being the line in the sand that seemed to have been drawn when it came to Skoll and this Omega. He really didn't like it because he was jealous.

This Omega could be his undoing and there was nothing he could do about it. He wasn't an Omega, and he was never going to be. He saw people fighting their natural instincts everyday. More often than not it was never pretty.

Elliot let his jealousy get the better of him and he googled more on what an Omega was and how they could have many mates. Even mates that have found their one. They had a hard enough pull as Skoll called it. He didn't like one bit of it.

It was apparently common for Omega's to be passed around and used within a pack. Part of Elliot felt like he should feel bad for them but he couldn't bring himself too. At least not now. He was too pissed.

Skoll had tried to talk to him a few times but he wasn't ready. He could also feel the tension growing between the three of them. Being on the road was putting a strain on all of them. He should have listened to himself when he thought about going back the night he kicked Skoll out.

He had made a promise to himself that he would never feel the way Andrew made him feel ever again. He had opened himself up to the idea that Skoll couldn't do that to him. He had feelings for Skoll. Feelings he knew weren't going to go away so he stayed, even if it was stupid.

*I've done my best to write this so if you haven't read that you won't really need too, but I highly recommend because Crash and Quinn are lovlies too.*

Come join these two on their own ups and downs. This story does run into the same timeline as STAY.

*Disclaimer like most of my stories this one also features some hard topics or sences that can be difficult for some to read. They will be flagged for mature.
