A message from the writer

This story was one of the hardest ones, when time came to decide what to write and what not. Artiner tried to tell me this story. But I already knew. I knew all about it. The Scopics told me themselves. We were friends, particularly with Parris. We’d often go on small walks together when I was in town. But with the rest of them as well I was somewhat close. Yet, in this story, something was missing.

I knew about Viletta. It wasn’t until after the Revolution began however, that I completely revised my views on her. On what had actually happened. When she entrusted her secrets to Thavmier and he, in turn, completed the missing pieces of my thoughts. When all came together, I was forced to come face to face with a difficult reality.

It was then I admitted to myself I had to write it down. Viletta’s story. The title may refer to the family as a whole, but don’t be fooled, this is her story.
