Tesla walked through the smoke, causing Esdeath to pull Ymir from her belt. Liquid poured from the top freezing upon contact with the air and forming an axe as she looked at Emerald and Tesla. “How'd you get that weapon?” Emerald asked as anger filled her, her staff separating into two short swords. “That belongs to a friend of ours who's gone now and Alister only made three named weapons!” Emerald said charging at Esdeath. The two clashed with a loud metal clang echoing through the room.

Tesla rushed in throwing several punches causing Esdeath to jump away from the two. “Focus on ranged attacks I'll focus on melee!” Tesla told Emerald who nodded and put her two shorts swords back together into a staff. The staff's name was Loki based on the Nordic god of mischief. Alister named it this for all the hidden features it held, forcing opponents to question if the weapon was really what it looked like. The staff shifted into a bow and Emerald's smoke solidified into an arrow that she fired at Esdeath. “Always gotta make the job harder,” Esdeath said, letting out a sigh and pulling a stun baton off her belt.

The electricity of the baton crackled the air as she rushed towards Tesla, meeting her punches with her two weapons while dodging the oncoming arrows. “If I'm not careful these two will overpower me quickly,” Esdeath thought to herself, spinning around and kicking Tesla away. “Emerald go airborn!” Tesla said as she clapped her two gauntlets together. Emerald's feat vanished into smoke as electricity began to zap between the gloves. “I'd advise staying off the floor cuz Zeus gives a very nasty shock!” Tesla said, slamming her palms on the ground.

The electricity from her gauntlets shot out covering and electrifying the floor as Esdeath slammed her axe into the room, holding herself up. She used her baton to smack arrows out of the air as Emerald rushed close. Loki shifted into a knife as Emerald aimed to stab Esdeath, unfortunately, Esdeath was prepared, kicking the knife away and delivering a second kick to the side of Emerald head. Tesla saw Emerald begin to fall and took her hands off the ground, de-electrifying it. Esdeath dropped down rushing at Tesla only to slam into a wall of condensed smoke.

“This is getting annoying, it's time to finish you two off!” Esdeath said drawing her gun only for Tesla to deliver a swift uppercut to Esdeath's chin. Esdeath flew back falling on her back not moving as Emerald reformed herself, the two breathing heavily as they had defeated their foe. “Go help Alister, I'll deal with our little friend here,” Emerald said as Tesla nodded, running out of the room. Emerald picked up Esdeath's helmet that had flown off when hit. The helmet was definitely advanced and couldn't be found in their city. Esdeath stood up causing Emerald to turn back around, ready for the next round but upon seeing Esdeath's face, Emerald froze. She couldn't believe her eyes, she refused to believe what she was seeing as she uttered the words “It can't be you.”
