originally meant as a stand alone, many folks wanted to know what ultimately happened to Alice and Esther. after long consideration, i felt it unfair to the characters to leave them in such a sad state. so i connected four other stories which became Pieces of Lingering Dust.
i'm usually a wordy writer, but i'm not going to explain much if anything in these descriptions. folks are always free to speculate and comment, though i will be turning comments off when it comes to "little q. goes to school, or Kilroy was Here" as the audacity of suggesting a nonbinary intersex person use a bathroom according to their assigned sex got me a lot of hate. if you are that kind of hateful person, i don't want to know you.
anyway, for those with bigger hearts and brains, i hope you'll enjoy the rest of this little backyard fairy tale.
