Asuka used her mana to neutralize some of that outcast's attacks during their run.
“Why did you bring out that weapon and show it off if you're not going to use it anyway?!” Toma was nagging at Asuka when they were running and getting short in breathe.
“I can't use it now, I wasn't trained for days like this...”
“Maybe you're right...the world changed like fourty days ago i can't blame you.”
“But Toma, I just realised something, if it works we can escape and go back to the villa.”
“What?! Is it as weird as your brother's plans?!”
“Shut up.”
“Okay don't get mad, what is it that you realised?!”
Asuka smirked and stopped running suddenly and that made Toma surprised because that outcast was almost catching up to them.
“Have you lost your mind Asuka?!”
Toma's running slowed down because he couldn't just let Asuka do something crazy on her own.
That was when Toma noticed something.
Asuka wasn't sending any mana pulses out of her body anymore, as if she just turned off her magic powers just like how you shut down a computer by just a click.
“What the...”
Toma couldn't understand why she was doing that but he started to mimic her by shutting down his own magic powers as well.
“I don't know if this works or not but this is the only way.” Asuka said this while she was closing her eyes and waiting for the worst outcome.
“You're Arima Asuka afterall, Arima Arata's younger sister.”
Toma trusted Arima Arata's younger sister and closed his eyes, shutting his mana off, taking a deep breathe as the outcast was getting closer and closer by each inhale and exhale that they made.

The villa and the area Taio was standing still, was filled with a strange dark aura.
Rokoro was getting choked by the magic that turned into dark purple around his neck and could no longer use his mana shield, the magic that he used to lessen the strengh of the magic Taio was using.
Before his last breathe, he was saved, in the very last moments that his life was hanging by a thread.
And that savior was Arima Arata.
He had a good habit of arriving in the last seconds.
Arima Arata took all his strengh on his fist and landed it on Taio's weak part on the neck.
That place of the neck is where you can get someone knocked off with just one hit but Arima knew it's going to be a big gamble because Taio's body was possesed by something else.
Taio or rather that thing inside Taio's body was knocked off and as a result, his body fell down on the ground.
Arima ran towards Rokoro to check on him but unfurtonately he wasn't in a good condition.
“Rokoro! Can you hear me?! Hang in there Asuka's gonna arrive soon.”
This was the first time Arima Arata got worried for his friend even if they went through worse troubles than this one.
It might've been because he knew Rokoro was defeated by an abnormal amount of magic power coming from something unknown that they couldn't even label it as anything that they've ever known until that moment.
Could the thing inside Taio's body be a monster? Or a really strong Zoner? Or maybe an abnormal outcast like the one we just met?
“But wait...was that thing even an outcast?! It had such a big body and... it could talk..!”
Arima was filled with doubts and confusion but somehow he was sure, things inside the zone was starting to get even worse.
“Arata!!!”
Asuka called for his brother while running towards them with Toma hanging along.
“Asuka, please...your healing power!”
One of other Asuka's mana abilities was her healing power but she was frozen the moment she saw Rokoro's condition.
His eyes were blank and his skin was pale, there was a black magical mark around his neck and his condition was as if it was already so late to save him.
“Don't...don't worry i'll save him.”
Asuka manifested her healing mana into Rokoro's body, the aura of her mana was soft and relxing so as long as she put that energy in the air everyone's anxiety started to fade away.
“This is all my fault.”
Arima was putting the blame on himself.
Toma was somehow showing his mature side for the first time and those words made Arima and Asuka pause for a moment with a pocker face.
“Heh...so you're not that stupid.” and Asuka was teasing him for that.
“Anyways, Toma check on Taio.”
“But...but...”
Toma hesitated.
“That's an order from your great leader.”
Arima changed his tone from playful to serious real quick.
“Damn...why are you like this?!”
Toma then slowly approached Taio's unconscious body on the ground and touched his forhea and his body, trying to find the scars that he got from that outcast's attack.
“Wow...” said Toma with a surprised tone.
“What is it?!” Arima asked Toma and for some reason he was getting nervous by Toma's foolish reaction.
“Nothing, just realised this guy healed himself automatically.”
Arima then realised Taio healed himself just like that outcast back there but what was more shocking to him was the fact that it wasn't the first time seeing Taio's body doing that.
“Asuka, now that you're healing Rokoro you have to be fully aware of your healing powers and manifest it into the patient's body right?!”
“That's right older brother, i can't do this if i'm unconscious or asleep.”
After what Asuka told Arima, he was drawn into his thoughts and walked towards Toma and Taio.
“It's just like when we found his body that day.”
Asuka was focusing on healing Rokoro but couldn't get herself more distracted so she was only listening to what Arima and Toma said without participating in their conversation.
“When we found him with that outcast girl, he was shoot in his chest right?!” Toma asked.
“Toma, let's bring Taio in the villa first.”
Arima didn't answer Toma's question but Toma and Asuka caught up to the information that they had to be aware of.
Suddenly Rokoro started to cough and make a deep breathe as if it was still hard for him to use his throat properly.
“Oh he's breathing...!” Asuka sounded so happy.
Toma started to run towards Rokoro.
The moment Rokoro opened his eyes he sat on his knees and started to touch the scar around his neck with curiousity because the pain on his neck that was so unbearable a few moments ago was nowhere to be found.
“Hey idiot, don't sit like that as long as you wake up.” Toma started to nag at Rokoro as soon as Rokoro woke up.
“Where is Taio...” Rokoro was still worried for Taio's condition even though he was the one that went through death.
Arima was carrying Taio's unconscious body on his back and turned his head towards his younger sister.
“By the way...How did you and Toma get away from that outcast without getting caught.”
Asuka standed up with a happy expression as if she wanted to brag about what she did back there.
“That thing couldn't see us once we turned our magic powers off.”
“What do you mean?!” Rokoro wasn't in a condition to be able to speak easily but he was so curious to just ignore what he just heard and Toma was the one that responded to Rokoro.
“Asuka's realization in the last moment was incredible, that thing was only responding to mana and she found out quite fast.”
Arima smiled quietly and walked towards the villa's door, carrying Taio on his back, trying not to show how proud he was of his younger sister.
“You guys better come in too, I'm going to put a protector wall around the house, we don't want that weird thing find us again, right?!”
Asuka was irriaited of the fact that she didn't hear any compliments from his older brother for what she had done.
“ Aww I deserved better than this Arata.”
Toma helped Rokoro to get up and together with Asuka, they followed Arima Arata inside the house.

Few hours passed, the night was approaching slowly and there was still no signs of Taio getting up and Arima, Asuka, Toma and Rokoro were in the drawing room, eating dinner and talking about the things that happened in the morning.
“First Rounin now Taio...” said Rokoro with hopeless eyes, staring at his dinner with no apetite to eat.
“Arata's right but for now let's talk about the outcast we saw today.”
“But was that even an outcast?!” Toma was the only one eating his dinner and talked with a full mouth.
“That's my question too but based on what I saw, that thing was after what Taio was carrying.”
“...”
A heavy silence was heard louder than the thunder that was breaking outside their window.
“What do you mean?! What does he carry?!” Rokoro didn't hesitate and asked Arima properly.
Arima reached out to his earing that was hanging on his left ear and made a light touch on the plaque and countinued his sentence.
“I don't know, but whatever it is, maybe it has something to do with this plaque.”
