hi dearest Maus! i just found this comic yesterday and binge read it (it took some time, because i had to appreciate the ✨details✨), and i'd like to say (or rather write) a few things:
1. as a person who isn't into bdsm and doesn't have much knowledge about the topic, this story has been very eye-opening. sadly, bdsm is oftem heavily prejudiced in our society, so i'm grateful to have found a source of authentic and educational information. i love how you portray the topic in a very real and raw way, which is unfortunately not that common
2. the fact that you also show trauma in that same real and raw light is so dear to me. i myself (very luckily) am not a victim of sa, but i do have a lot of other trauma stemming from my childhood. that being said, many of those self-destructive thoughts and actions that are a part of gogo's character hit very close to home. it means so much to me to have that depicted in such a masterpiece. trauma is generally a very difficult and layered thing, that manifests very differently for each person. and i love that you always make sure to put that fact across
Gorou Stein feels like a piece of a puzzle that doesn't fit anywhere. Equipped with uncanny mutant powers and plagued by dark thoughts every day of his life feels like hell. But when he is finally ready to end his life a stranger comes to his rescue.
Derek Bennett pulls him deep into the world of ELITES, a secret underground organization where only the strong will survive.
This is where Gogo's in need of a good friend, coach, and maybe ... lover?
(CONTENT ADVISORY: mild violence, implication of sexual abuse (no depictions), and sexual topics)
