Rika lands on the ground, with competitors staring at her

Caelus: Looks like you’ve become an inspiration!

Rika: Well, looks like first place is mine.

Random: No Way!

Competitors begin to rush forward and charge at different robots. 

competitors rush into battle, Alex & Rika both see 2-star. Alex uses his chains to swing behind Rika.

Rika: Get off my ass, weirdo! 

A: Grr!

Alex Whips a chain around Rika’s leg, Rika is pulled back, does a Miles Morales Kick and explodes chain, she lands on building.

Rika: Now you're mine, 2-star! 

Suddenly, a tiger looking dude with flames bursts into the 2 star with a kick.

Rika: Hey, you stole my kill!

Tiger:… 

Rika chases after him. Rika, Alex, Caelus and Tigerman spot a 3star robot fighting someone with a blue sword who is slapped away. All 4 start blasting attacks, Alex pulls with chains. Caelus is grabbed & thrown to floor. Rika is crushed under the robot’s leg. 

Alex: looks like the weak are being weeded out! 

A glowing orange line goes up the robot's leg, it explodes. Rika emerges with an explosive aura.

Rika: Who...are you calling weak!

She rushes into the robot’s head, exploding it. Rika goes up to 4th place. She lands on the floor and tries to propel herself with explosion, but falls 

Alex: Hmph, looks like no more points for you! 

The timer goes off. 

Rika: No more points for you either. 

Alex grunts. Caelus helps Rika up. 

Rika: Thanks.

Caelus: No problem, you were great out there. 

They turn to look at the tiger man leaving. 

Rika: That guy, he has some kind of ability, but it doesn’t look like he has an Aegistar.

Caelus: Either way... I hope i get to fight him. 

cut to forest. two guys shovel snow. glowing red eyes appear in the distance. Akkari charges at them.

1: Look out! He shoves 2 out of the way. 1 raises his shovel. 

1: Stay back, demon! She charges at the men, clashing with them for a brief moment, then killing them. She begins to eat them until a crystal spike wall appears in front of her. She raises her arm and shatters it. 

Rozato: So you’re the cannibal girl! Ah, it looks like i’ve caught you in the act. He launches his star, crystals forming under it. Akkari is trapped in the crystals, she breaks out and charges at Rozato. They start to trade blows.  

R: Now listen, i don’t want to put in more effort than i need to, so you can either come with me now… or we can do this the hard way.

A: I will kill you.

R: How bold!

Voice: Your second trial has concluded, please make your way to the next room.

The doors opened to reveal a large arena, with surveillance agents. 

Rika: Woah.

Caelus: Woah indeed.

Marcello (video): Hello competitors, and welcome to your 3rd, and for most of you final, trial. Remember, each of you will only compete in one match, which means you only get one chance to prove that you deserve a spot in the final race of the 8 top competitors. Good luck to you all.

They file in and sit in the stands all around the arena. 

Voice: Greetings competitors. This trail will contain fifty one-on-one battles. In order to be crowned as the winner, your opponent must be either knocked out of the arena, or knocked down offer a ten-second count. Your performance in your battle will determine your final ranking & ability to enter the final trial. If neither competitors have won after 3 minutes, it will result in a draw. the first match will now commence. 

The screen lights up. 

Voice: The competitors fighting are… Darcy Ragula, and Ray Clover. 

Rika recognised Ray as the guy with the blue sword who tried to kill the 3-star robot earlier. Darcy and Ray enter the ring. 

Ray: Alright, time to get this over with! 

He Swings at Darcy, she dissipates into a flock of bats and swarms him.

Darcy: Good night.

she turns human once more and uses her shadow magic to send him flying to the other side. He stops himself on the edge with his sword.

Ray: I'm still in! 

He jumps forward. 

Darcy: Not for long. she turns into a large shadowy monster and stretches her arm and grabs Ray. 

R: Uh oh. 

she slams him to the floor. Ray slices through the monster and Darcy emerges. She blasts shadow flames, then creates a clone and blasts him out of the ring. 

Voice: Winner, Darcy Ragula.

They sit. 15 more matches montage: legsweep + slam knockout.

Voice: Match 17: Lee Gantar, vs… Alexander Dirks.

Alex: Hmph, I would rather have humiliated the the explosion girl, but fine.

Lee: I hope to have a good, clean match

Alex: …

Alex sends a chain. Lee catches it and pulls Alex toward him. Alex breaks the chain. He runs to Alex, dodging chains. Alex sends two chains and lee grabs them. Lee barrages Alex with punches & kicks. He almost knocks him down with a spin kick, but Alex puts chains into the floor and stops himself. He wraps Lee with a chain and flings him. Lee breaks free and lands on the edge with his finger. 

Alex (mind): Who is this guy?!

Lee flips over towards Alex who spams chains and pulls him. Lee grabs the chain and flips over Alex, grabbing him and launching him over his head. Alex makes more chains and grabs onto a broken rook, then renounces the other chains. They both roll onto the floor.

Alex: I'm ending this, Now. 

Lee jumps over and onto a chain running to Alex. 

Alex moves his star to below Lee and sends chains and grabs him. He launches him to the other side, Lee reaches to grab a chain but misses.

Lee is sent off the edge. 

Voice: Winner, Alexander Dirks. 

Lee: Huff.. good match.

Alex: Shut it, loser.

They take their seats. 23 more matches.

Voice: Match forty’s competitors, Caelus Caltrae…. and Kin Jodaku.

Caelus (thoughts): Dang it…

Kin: I’m going to dethrone you.

Caelus: Ha!

Kin charges at Caelus, who coils a serpent around him, Kin cuts it in half and trades blows with him. Caelus sends 2 leviathan after him. He cuts one and is grabbed by another. His blade moves on it’s own and pierces the leviathan. He rushes behind Caelus to strike him. Caelus turns his head and smiles. 

Kin: WHY ARE YOU SMILING?!

Caelus' star materialises behind him. A leviathan shoots out, blasting him to the other side. A dust cloud obscures Kin. He emerges, his scarf holding on to the edge. 

Kin: You thought it would be that easy? Don't think you're better than me... Just because you have an Aegistar! 

Caelus: I don't! 

Kin rushes at him and they trade blows. 

Kin: You're dead! 

Caelus: What did i even do?! 

Kin wraps one leviathan with his scarf and stabs another. Caelus retreats both and sends three more. Kin dodges and slices them. They continue to standoff. Caelus sending serpents while Kin cuts or strangles them. 

Caelus: This is.. taking too long. 

Kin: That's the plan. 

Voice: Neither opponent has won after 3 minutes, Which means this match has resulted in a draw. 

Caelus: Ah... 

They sit. All matches happen except one. 

Voice: Round 50: Paprika Qhuma vs Marciano Fuego.

Rika and Marciano stare at each other from opposite sides.
