This comic was written by Paul. We will see if he writes more pages after seeing the work I did.
In an effort to speed up my comic production, I wanted to see how well I could color with limited colors. I used 5 colors, plus black and white, and spotted gradients and I think it turned out well.

Abandoned by his mother (a single, homeless drug addict) when he was a baby. Scrap is raised by hobos and grows up in the back alleys, gutted buildings and sewers of a large industrial city. He is strong and wiry, and can see in the darkness. He also possesses super hearing and smell, and the ability to use garbage and found objects as tools, weapons and instruments he can instantly assemble and discard. He can also disappear into the shadows or hide in any environment. He does not use guns or kill people, but he will maim someone if they threaten him or someone else.
He lives on discarded food right from restaurant dumpsters, and he shares it with dogs, cats and the hobos who raised him. He owns nothing but his clothes, and his only companion is a dog or coyote. His motto is “Live and let live”, but his life is about survival and search. He is seeking his mother and his real family. His mother is from a very wealthy family who disinherited her when she became pregnant. Scrap does not drink, smoke or use drugs, but he can sense a drug user or dealer because he has traces of the drugs in his blood left by his mother. The family is looking for him, since he is the legal heir to their wealth.
They hire a detective to find him, but the PI has his own plans - kill Scrap and keep the family looking and paying the PI. The mom does not want to reconnect with the family, so she takes a job as a waitress at a rundown diner and hides in plain sight.
