Chapter 4
Samuel went back through the hole to Marshlake, and looked around to see that his friends had gotten everyone out of Elflem before the hole destroyed it. He flew up to look at the school, and he cast his sight seeing spell. He saw that they’d gotten everyone out of the school, as well. Why would they do that? Suddenly the school started to crumble in on itself. Samuel guessed that was why, no time for that now. He looked at the rift in the middle of Elflem, and cast his move void spell. He pushed the void in on itself, and watched as the hole that was in the world made itself into a strange moving shape. Samuel couldn’t quite describe it. He went inside it, and went to the first rifted realm. He closed that one too. He went into the second rifted realm and closed that one too, and then he closed the one on earth. Earth was the hardest, especially considering that it was in the sky. When he went back through he felt something while traveling between them, something he could control. He ignored it for now, and entered Marshlake once again. He searched the whole island, and when he found everyone they were hiding in the forest. He floated down to them.
One stood up, “What happened?”
Samuel looked at them, “I trapped HIM, deep within the void.” They all gasped, “What happened to the school?” Samuel asked back.
Eric shook his head,”Destroyed, by the controllers. They used some kind of spell that would ‘Cleanse’ the place, but it didn’t do that.” Carlene was crying.
Samuel nodded, “I stabilized the dimensional barriers, and now it’s all safe. We have another problem though.”
After they got everyone back to Elflem, and made sure they were safe and sound. Samuel met with the counsel.
“Samuel Knight, how is it you're always in here?” The first asked,
“And why must we lecture you over and over?” another asked,
“And why…” Before the next could finish their sentence Samuel spoke.
“I defeated HIM! This is a meeting to deal with the problem at hand, and I've found a solution. If you would listen.” Samuel announced. They leaned in, as if actually listening to his words. “I’m able to control the void, and now with multiple dimensions to worry about and the school being blown up. I believe we should make a new school, in the void.” Everyone gasped, and waited for him to continue. “We must make a truce, between all of the dimensions. I plan to make a foundation in the void for children who have found the ability to do magic, and for the foundation to deal with the multiversal conflicts and issues.” Samuel looked around the room, everyone was stunned. He looked back to his friends, “I would like professionals to teach there, it’ll take us a few years to do this. My friends and I shall lead this foundation, while Marshlake rebuilds and repairs.” The counsel members looked at eachother, and talked. This time Samuel could hear them, and they were actually considering the opportunity.
“Where will our children learn in the meantime?” One asked,
“If they discover the power they hold we will take them under our wing, and teach them at the foundation.” Samuel said.
The counsel talked for a few more minutes, then looked back. “In this dire situation, you’ve given us an option of safety. We shall take it, but will these other dimensions also agree?”
Samuel nodded, “When they find the power they hold, we’ll tell them.”
The counsel nodded, “Then it is decided, any resources you need just tell us and we’ll give them to you.”
Samuel smiled, “Don't worry, we don't need any resources.”
Samuel led his friends to the portal in the middle of Elflem, and told them to enter carefully. Samuel entered first, and molded the void to his bidding. He made a floor, walls, ceilings and classrooms. When his friends entered, the school was completed.
Eric was amazed by the building, “This is incredible, Samuel.”
Carlene nodded, “It’s amazing.”
Samuel nodded, “And all of you have your own classrooms.” Samuel smiled at them, and they looked amazed.
“We have classrooms?!” Charles asked.
“Yes, and Sylvan you're in charge of multiversal communication. Have fun with that.” Samuel said, before Sylvan could say anything everyone was running around the school finding their classrooms. They all had them, even Sylvan. Samuel didn’t, he had an office. Being in the void also meant an infinite amount of space, so it was a huge room with many books. Samuel smiled, “Welcome to real magic.”
