Sometimes, things grow where you least expect them.
Oh little rose full of sunshine have you any room
For me to sit next to while I watch you bloom.
I've seen you from afar, reaching for the sun
But now I see you wilt, lost without fun.
Oh little rose empty before you rise
How can I possibly see through your lies?
Now when I approach, I see you blaze with light
Ready to be fierce, the same on that first night.
Oh rose, your roots aren't so little
A glimpse I can make shows me how you are brittle.
A rose that once stood alone with the thorns
Now hides amongst them, and mourns.
Oh little rose shine your bright light
Again and take away this blight.
Is it mine or yours, we may never know
But it is the same, this glow.
