In a dark room two people were talking

"My son i know I have always kept you away from the public eye and didn't make time for you growing up , but look at you now a strong and powerful soul tree Konqueror one of the best warriors of our kingdom and also my future successor but first there's something I need you to do for me..." The man stopped

"Anything you want father I'll do it without question"answered the boy opposite him 

"Very good very good, I need you to infiltrate the Zebha kingdom not just the kingdom but it's most elite force the KING'S BLADES. Can you do it? After all the fate of our kingdom rests on your shoulder since our other spies have been dealt with " the man spoke in a grin voice

"I wont disappoint you nor the kingdom father "

"That's my boy , make me proud "the man spoke while patting the boy's shoulder 

The boy looked at the hand on his shoulder and smiled feeling happy and content

"Now leave you will return when I summon you back "the man spoke

"I'm leaving now ?" 

"Yes we have no time to waste"

"I...I understand father"

Timothy was in the SMITHING standing Infront of a muscular boy who had challenged him to a fight in the middle of the pit that had a thin rope on it , both Timothy and the boy were standing on top of the thin rope looking awfully calm as they stared at each other , the muscular boy had a smirk on his face 

"This is where you die Mesa" The boy spoke

"You really believe that I'm the one who will be dying today? You so ignorant." Timothy spoke Slowly

 The boy looked at Timothy one last time before sprinting towards him revealing great agility and balance as he sent a fist towards Timothy's face but Timothy quickly moved his head out of the way before responding with a punch in the stomach , hitting him with so much strength but the boy  did not budge as he grabbed his hands in attempt to headbutt him but Timothy immediately kicked him in the nuts making the boy howl in pain his eyes turning bloodshot red

"I'll fucking kill you" 

The muscular boy jumped towards Timothy with both of his hands raised above him wanting to squash Timothy he  was much more agile than him so he jumped back right before the boy was about to hit him making him lose balance and missed the rope while landing  and quickly grabbing the rope with his left hand but before he could grab the rope with his other hand Timothy stepped on his hand while looking at him dead in the eye 

"Look who's about to die...not me" he said slowly

"You fucking coward let me up and I will destroy you!!!" The boy raged as Timothy put applied pressure to the hand he was stepping on making the boys grip weaken 

"And why would I do that ?tell me , if it was me in your position would you let me up ? Would you ? You challenged me to a death match so now don't complain "Timothy applied more pressure at the hand 

 "Spare me please!!! ",, The boy screamed as fear had already crept into his heart 

"You brought this on yourself" Timothy said stomping the hand with all of his strength , the boy let go of the rope and fell to his death

Timothy did not seem too bothered about the fact that he had killed a person , seeing as he was now used to the ways of the SMITHING afterall he has been in here for a month now 

"You don't look to happy about your victory"Jake spoke 

"He wasn't strong enough to fight me , but his ability to soak up damage was terrifying if only I had taken him Serious from the start " Timothy spoke analyzing his own fight 

"Do you want to have a go?" Jake asked and Timothy nodded before finding an empty space to have a friendly duel , the pit was used for death matches only . It took great skill to be able to fight standing on a thin rope above an endless pit.

Timothy and Jake dueled for an hour straight without stop as they both tried different ways to counter their opponents but none if it worked because the two boys were evenly matched 

"You two cut it out"Finn spoke as he looked at the two boys who were evenly matched spar 

"Come with me the king requests your presence" Finn spoke turning around  and leaving with the two boys following closely behind.

Timothy followed Finn to the throne room 

"What does he want with us?"Timothy thought to himself 

They arrived in the throne room and they saw the king seated on his throne wearing white robes laced with gold , on his head was a beautiful crown that seemed to be made out of bone and silver. The king smiled as they entered the room dismissing the guards at the door 

"Greetings your majesty" the boys bowed

"Greetings greetings my children how have you been the past month , I've heard from my son here that you are doing exceptionally well in the SMITHING ?" The king asked with a smile

"At first it was pretty hard but we got used to it" Jake answered

"I see I see , I believe you want to know why I summoned you here after all this time . You see out of all of the youths in the SMITHING only five will become members of the KING'S BLADE and I believe you know what will happen to the rest?".

"They will all die" Timothy spoke 

"Yes they will die , see these youths weren't forced to join the SMITHING unlike you who didn't know what you were signing up for when my son gave you the offer back in your little city , all of these youths here knew that if they didn't make the cut they will die but they still signed up because they wanted to gain power , the word of the weak is useless but the word of a man with power holds weight .I believe you boys know that already"the king smiled 

Timothy and Jake nodded but they still did not get why Zaloz had summoned them so they patiently waited for him to get to his point 

"I believe you two are some of the greatest talents our kingdom has ever produced, and I believe you will be part of the remaining five in the SMITHING so instead of wasting your time on something you can easily achieve I want you to focus on becoming Konquerors. Finn has already told me that you have almost completed the planting , it seems like your proficiency with gathering the breath is great. So from today on I need you to focus on planting the seed I need you to become soul seed Konquerors before the end of the upcoming month " the king ordered

The boys bowed in understanding and left the room after the king dismissed them 

"I hope you are right about them son" he spoke in a serious tone 

"They won't disappoint I can assure you that , after all father they have been in the smithing for a month and many of the youths there have been in there for 2-3 years but they have been dominated by these two boys from a perished city "Finn spoke 

His father nodded and dismissed him , Finn didn't go to his quarters but instead he went to Timothy's room , as he arrived outside he could hear laughter coming from inside. He gently knocked on the door and Timothy responded

"It's open" Finn stepped in and saw his two sisters Carolyn and Sydney chatting with Timothy and his friends

"I think I will return later"Finn spoke . Everyone turned to look at him

"I brought the fo- my Lord what are you doing here?" Elaine spoke as she came in with a basket full of food but stopping herself as soon as she saw Finn

"I wanted to speak to him. What are you doing here Elaine? Why are you Dressed like that?"Finn answered as he inspected her from head to toe with a frown on his face 

Elaine was wearing a blouse that reached the thighs with her hair tied in a ponytail , Finn looked at her before looking away as soon as he heard his two little sisters giggling at the side 

"We have been doing this for quiet a while now brother , this is where we relax after a long day of work " Carolyn spoke in a cheerful tone , Finn looked at her while his left eye twitched and Sydney was also looking at her with a "wha"expression

"What work do you do beside tear parties ?" Finn asked 

"Hosting a tea party is an exhausting task brother " she wiped a fake tear making everyone burst in laughter except for Timothy who just smiled and shook his head 

Finn took of his shoes and sat down on the carpet beside them , Elaine quickly dished up and they started eating and chatting. After it was all done Finn asked Timothy to walk with him to the garden 

"We have suffered three attacks from the La'faurians this past month , pretty soon it's going to be an all out war against La'faura . The other four kingdoms are not much of a threat right now since they're still so far away from reaching us"

"Why are you telling me all of this?"Timothy asked 

"After you become Konquerors you will be assigned with infiltration missions, The purpose of a KING'S BLADE is to take out threats that may threaten the crown without nobody else knowing but the downside is you may never come back . I'm sorry that your first task is going to be infiltration especially now when every kingdom is on high alert the chances of failure are high , that is why I'll be traveling with you and the others "

"There's no need for you to do that, we knew what we were signing up for" Timothy answered truthfully , he had thought about the possibility of him dying and he had made peace with it 

",I'm afraid I too don't have a choice it's the king's orders. I can sense the amount of breath in your soul , your seed is almost planted now isn't it? Finn asked 

"Yes maybe in a week or two I'll be a Konqueror but my progress seems slow "timothy answered.

Finn felt wronged by his response since it took him 5 months to become a soul seed Konqueror , he shook his head and stared at the sky 

"Work hard my friend , work hard" Finn spoke in a sad tone
