Willow and Echo made their way home, quietly, through the trees and newly grown grass. Echo greeted the birds and deer as they passed, mimicking their hellos as he usually did. Through the door of their home, they were met with the stares of their parents.
“You both are home very early.” Their mother said in her kind and gentle voice.
“Yes, very early.” Their father agreed. “Did you already finish deliveries?" He asked.
Willow and Echo nodded and proceeded to explain the happenings at the village and how everyone was very excited over a message passed from the Oracle. Hearing this, Wonder jumped from his seat, crying for them to read the paper.
“Please read it!” Wonder pleaded. Their father took the piece of paper and read it.
It read, “As the Oracle, I have had a vision of our savior to stop the war and end our suffering. If you are the son of a healer, by my decree, you must journey to the castle of Larimar to be tested. This is a demand from the celestials themselves.”
Not a night later, soldiers in Larimar colors came to their home and escorted them to the castle, where the Oracle awaited their arrival.
