I trained the big guns of my battle cruisers on the enemy, my anger surged high.
Massive readouts flashed on my console screen, red and blue strobe lights dazzled.
The royal ships took a pounding from my heavy guns.
Some of their shields shorted out under my barrage and large chunks of their framework broke off.
I trained intensive fire on the vulnerable ships, blowing up three of them instantly.
Monitoring the shield efficiency of the rest told me they had reduced from bold blue bars down to flimsy sheets of red.
I knew I had them all; one more series of blasts would fry all of them.
Suddenly they banked away and raced back toward the planet.
