Ok ok WOW. there's so much of this i love, the details of the signs being illegible, and the expressions on the image of the mother's expression in the Polaroid changing when she is "talking" vs how it naturally is. It really does translate that dream feel into the comic.
Tangled in dreams and hallucination, Nina tries to navigate a strange world while images of the past unfurl heavy on eyes so clouded. And while digging around the past and mysteries of the city she begins to uncover a hidden society of dream psychics. Each of them she encounters, these so called "magicians", are worse than the last, always reaching for some sort of chance at a fabled immortality. Still, Nina will learn to travel through dreams in a way of her own.
