Back on the island, during the treasure hunting, they all go into a cave located behind the tall waterfall. The cave's entry is pretty well hidden by some high bushes and by the water of the waterfall, of course.

After taking some minutes finding and entering the place, they all end up facing a dozen skeletons laying down on the floor. Those skeletons, that they can only barely perceive because of the lack of light in this dark cave, seem to be pretty dead. So Gwenchlan starts to walk among those piles of bones but only after a few steps taken, one of the skeletons slightly moves, the captain doesn’t see it at first. She just keeps walking.

As the captain walks deeper in the cave, the skeleton that just moved finally fully magically gets up. It growls a bit before directly reaching the brown skinned woman. One of the pirates warns her :

-“Captain ! Behind you !”

So she reflectively turns around protecting herself with her sword she unsheathed when entering the cave. Thanks to that, she instantly knocks the skeleton down.

Right when this skeleton falls unconscious on the ground, the other skeletons rise from the ground, they all get up and start to uncontrollably attack the group of pirates in the cave. All of the pirates correctly manage to beat the magical skeletons, even Symone, who isn’t really used to fighting against any form of life.

After getting rid of those skeletons, all of the pirates walk to a huge room, still in the cave. Everything is so dark and watery there, the room is only lit up by some natural holes in the walls and ceiling but the night is coming pretty soon, so it's getting even darker in here, by the way, they completely forgot about bringing some fire torches with them, thinking no steps would be in a dark place.

Symone's golden coloured eyes search for a key that is clearly indicated on the map, he sees it from afar, reflecting under some of the light coming from the few small holes coming from the rocky walls. The key Symone just spotted is situated at the other side of the room they all are in, while everyone is looking all around the room, searching for that same key.

The half-elf carefully walks to the key, firmly holding a rusty sword in case something would suddenly fight him. The key he spotted earlier is placed as a necklace around a skeleton's neck, this time the skeleton doesn’t seem magic, so it shouldn’t move nor attack. This skeleton is sitting on a chair, which seems to be an expensive one but not as much as the king's one, so the one sitting in must have been an important person back in their time.

While observing this chair, Symone notices a crescent moon sculpted on the top of the backrest of the wooden chair the skeleton is sitting on, the exact same symbol as the one on the treasure map. So Symone finally extends a nervous hand in order to take that key from the skeleton's neck, he is indeed afraid that the skeleton would magically wake up but he still manages to take the key.

Right after catching and taking it away from the skeleton, the floor and walls start to slightly shake, the green elf looks around, he looks right above his head and sees a shaking rocky spike. Only after a few more shakes, the spike falls but Symone has time to dodge it, letting a slight scream of fear come out of his mouth. The spike only slightly cuts the cheekbone of the half-elf.

The floor and walls start to shake even harder, everything is about to fall down and get destroyed, all of the other pirates notice it and simply don't know what is happening. They suddenly sees and hear the green elf yelling :

-"Everybody ! I've got the key ! Get out RIGHT NOW !"

They all listen to him, obviously seeing that the cave is starting to fall apart so they all run to the only way out of here, despite the chaos the pirates are creating, they all manage to safely get out of here. The cave is indeed getting destroyed because the key was taken away.

After they all get outside this place, the captain makes sure that everyone comes back safely, by chance no one is missing. Now that Gwenchlan has made sure everyone is here, she goes to Symone and orders him to give her the key, he obeys and simply hands it to her. So she can go and find the treasure.

After all those tough adventures, they all go back to the galleon with a big chest full of gold and some precious accessories and a bunch of crappy things. After gathering and hiding all of the treasures on the boat, they're all having a weak dinner because of the lack of food on the ship right now. They also all get ready to rest because the night is already here despite a lot of pirates staying awake to take care of the ship and to navigate it properly.

Now that the elf ate the few food that was given to him, he decides to directly go down in the hold, to find a place to rest and sleep, he walks down there in hope to find back his new friend as well. Talking about his new friend, the demon is still laying down on the poorly made bed, which is directly on the hard wooden and wet floor of the hold.

The elf walks until seeing Vek's couch, so he approaches and sits right next to the only person he knows, by the way the demon is sleeping tight. Symone wants to make sure his friend is alright after everything that has happened to him. After sitting close to Vek, Symone is just looking at, even admiring, the other one.

As the elf is admiring him, the demon slowly opens his eyes as if he knows Symone is just here, sitting right next to him. The green one asks calmly and softly :

-"Are you alright ?"

-"Yes. What about you ? Weren't you crushed by the megalodon earlier here ?" He says in a rush but with a soft voice, to not attract the other pirate's attention and looking at the elf from head to toe to make sure he is okay.

Symone tries to calm the demon down, seeing he seems a bit panicked, putting a hand on one of his cheeks then says, smiling :

-"No, no. I'm fine." The elf did this gesture without really thinking, he just wants the demon to be less worried.

While the green one has a hand on the red one's cheek, the demon looks at him in a way no one ever looked at Symone that way.

They are both set in the hold of the ship, plunged in the dark with the only source of light being some candles here and there and the moon light. There are curtains all around the poorly made bed which they are now both sitting on, those curtains are used to give the pirate some privacy despite privacy not really existing on pirate ships.

The demon properly sits up and get closer to Symone, taking the hand that was on his cheek and holding it carefully in both of his hands, he gently talks :

-"You know... I was kind of scared, I thought the shark killed you." The demon seems to be more comfortable at being closer to the elf, not as he usually is with anyone else.

While the red one is talking, Symone keeps staring at Vek's mouth, as if he is really concentrating on what the demon was saying. The red skinned one notices it and says, ironically :

-"What ? Why are you staring at my mouth ? Do you want to kiss it or something ?"

The demon asked the last question without really controlling what he just said but before he can talk more to apologise for this behaviour, Symone answers with a lot of confidence :

-"Yes. I mean, if you don't mind."

Despite his skin being naturally red, the demon blushes a lot then he just nods positively.

Vek now slowly approaches one of his hands to Symone's back of the neck. Unexpectedly, Symone puts both of his hands on Vek's cheeks and reaches to the other one's lips, the demon is surprised but he accompanies the elf in this kiss. The demon notices that the green one is pretty good at kissing, confused on if it is his first time doing it since the elf said he never left his house.

Symone keeps on kissing the older one's lips for a good more couple of seconds before stopping to let both of them catch their breath. Taking advantage of this short moment, Vek asks to the one who just intensely kissed him :

-"Perhaps, do you mind doing more than that simple kiss ?" Vek explicitly asks Symone, even languidly putting one of his hands on the elf's chest.

-"What ? I'm not sure if I want to do more for now, I just wanted to try kissing." Symone says, blushing out of embarrassment then he takes the demon's hand off his chest, to leave it in one of his own hands.

Vek looks at Symone a bit disappointed in this answer, he hoped the other one would answer positively but he hasn’t. So the demon feels like he has been a bit used by the green elf just to experience a kiss from a man, even though the elf never kissed anyone in his life before that exact moment.

But Vek just ends up accepting and acknowledges that Symone just wanted to try kissing for the first time of his life. Then they both end up by simply falling asleep next to each other, trying to get a good night of sleep on that hard and wet wooden floor.
