So on the next day, early in the morning some members of the crew, the ones who want to help out. Which includes Amber, the captain and Symone are all starting a new journey to Hooves Village. The village of fauns, centaurs, minotaur and everything having hooves. Of course they took Gwenchlan's galleon to do this part of the trip. They still manage to take care of the ship despite the small number of crew members within the huge ship.

After a few hours on the sea the ship finally arrives at Hooves Village, most of the villagers instantly spot that huge and beautiful galleon even before it moors at the dock. The navigation took a short amount of time, not even half a day thanks to the wind helping them to go as fast as they could.

They quickly moor the ship at the village's main dock before going straight to the boat seller at the other side of the dock, the ship still being admired by the inhabitants of this place. Symone is looking everywhere in hope of finding Ywain, the faun he met on his first day out but he can't find him for now. He obviously can't find a random person that easily, there are also a lot of people living in this town.

By the way it is called 'Village' because at first this place was just a simple village but with time it developed and other villages were founded around the one they are actually in, after even more time, the villages around decided to just assemble with the main one, which was already called 'Hooves Village'.

The whole crew is standing in front of the ship seller's small cabin, which is located exactly at the other side of where they moored the Lacy, Gwenchlan's galleon. While the captain is conversing with the seller, Amber looks around them and quickly notices that Symone isn't with them anymore, so he discreetly goes and looks for him. Instantly wondering where he is, the pirate is wondering because the green elf isn't feeling at his best since the day before, the day his friend got kidnaped by some of the royal guards. So it is completely normal for the blond pirate to worry for the new crew member.

Symone is naturally walking into the city, he's feeling welcomed by everyone in here, all the creatures seem so kind. As he walks in the city, the elf looks around and sees that everything is different from what he already saw at Ahulia and Golden Hook. Indeed, this village is more integrated to nature, for example the houses are partially underground or even in the trees.

The elf is now looking for what can look like a market here and eventually asks people about Ywain but, unfortunately for the green elf, the market isn’t open on that day, so Symone can’t ask about his faun friend. He is indeed slightly desperate since he can’t find his friend.

After walking for some time deeper in the village, Amber spots Symone walking around a big place full of flora. This place looks really beautiful and calming, the nature is everywhere. Amber shouts out but not that loud so he doesn’t surprise the other one :

-"Symone ! We are still on the dock, what are you doing there ?"

The elf turns around and directly walks to Amber, still curiously looking around and still with a really sad and anxious face, he answers :

-"Nothing, I was just visiting the place and.. looking for someone. But let's just go."

Amber brings Symone back to the crew, patting his back and reassuring the tallest one while walking :

-"It's ok. We'll find him back, we still have time, don't worry."

While arriving back at the boat seller, they are both hearing a conversation between two pirates, they say things such as :

-"I heard that the king is letting the prisoners starve for days before deciding to kill them or not, so we have a chance to save Symone's friend."

-"But we have to save an actual demon, the king won't take more than a few minutes to decide to kill them !!"

This conversation makes Symone feel even worse than he was already feeling, he is really close to bursting into tears but he has to keep going on to save his friend. Gwenchlan is quickly getting a new boat, one with no information on whose it is, a neutral looking boat but with a good number of cannons in case they need to fight.

They are now all transferring things such as food, planks or even cannonballs from the galleon to a smaller ship. While Symone is holding a crate full of cannonballs and just after stepping  into the new boat, he hears someone yelling :

-"Hey !"

He does not really care about it, already thinking about how much he misses Vek and how they'll actually save him plus it could be anyone just yelling for fun so he doesn't care. He is still in a bad mood. But after not only a few seconds, he hears it again but this time it is slightly different :

-"Hey ! Green guy !"

So Symone spontaneously turns around to look at where the voice is coming and most of all to know who gave him that weird nickname. Symone indeed thinks this nickname is directed to no other than himself since he is the only one green on the dock right now.

After turning around, he instantly recognised a small faun. It is Ywain ! The latter recognised the half-elf mainly thanks to his skin colour but also thanks to his tallness and his golden coloured hair. The elf gains a bit of happiness to see the very first person he met in the outside world again even though he is still really sad about Vek's disappearance. So he exclaims, with a pretty fake smile but the faun doesn't notice it :

-"Hi Ywain !"

The faun looks around Symone and notices that the demon isn't here, so he asks clumsily because he obviously doesn't know what is currently happening :

-"Where is the demon ? You got rid of them ?"

Symone can't help but to uncontrollably tear up, so he runs away inside the hold of the boat to hide from the other pirates. By the way those other pirates saw absolutely nothing, the elf ran too fast. Amber is quickly following Symone, letting some words discreetly come out of his mouth such as "oh come on..." to let the faun know it is not the right moment to make jokes about how he hates someone. Ywain obviously hears nothing, the mutter was way too low.

So they both, the elf and the blond pirate, end up in the almost empty hold. Symone is sitting on the floor, crying because he can't hold all of this in him anymore. In fact, he had never felt so many different emotions in such a short amount of time before, he isn't used to so many emotions and new emotions as well.

Amber walks towards the green one, sits down right next to him, then he talks, trying to make Symone feel better as much as he can, despite he knows nothing about that elf :

-"Stop crying, we'll save your boyfriend. I promise !" He smiles while looking at the green elf, hoping saying that can make Symone feel better.

-"What ? He is not my boyfriend." Symone instantly looks at the pirate, why watery eyes and his eyebrows frowned, not understanding why would the human say that.

-"I saw you two kissing the other night." Amber weirdly smiles right after saying that, as if he wants to reassure the half-elf that it is fine to do what he has done with the red one.

-"Uh ?! You really saw us ??" The green elf is surprised, his eyes getting bigger. He would never believe someone saw that simple kiss, the hold was pretty dark back then.

-"It's fine I won't judge. Anyways, we have to save them. Because as a demon he'll be killed by the king for sure. We don't have any more time to waste."

After a few more minutes talking together, Amber finally ends up getting Symone out of the hold. By the way, the faun is still outside, waiting and curious about what happened for the elf to suddenly run away.

But before Symone goes to him, Amber quietly and calmly explains to the faun what's going on but doesn't tell all the details, only that Vek got arrested with no specific reasons by some royal guards. After a few explanations, the faun and the elf both decide to go talk in private at Ywain's place, accompanied by Amber. Even though they don't have a lot of time, the faun feels really sorry after hearing what is going on and obviously wants to help Symone out.

Ywain's house is really beautiful, it is directly built halfway underground, there's a lot of flora around the habitation, it is in fact located at the entrance of a huge forest, so it is really calm as well. As they enter this home, Symone notices a large carpet made of grass and flowers. It is as comfortable as pretty plus almost all of the interior is made of wood, so it is really welcoming and has a warm feeling.

This is the first time for the elf to see a habitation built like this. By the way the habitation is a bit small for Symone so he has to bow a little to enter it. They finally all sit around a table, Symone has brought Amber with him, really impatient to introduce his new friends to Ywain but still mainly having Vek in his mind at this exact moment.

The faun starts the conversation :

-"Erm.. listen. I'm sorry about what I told earlier, I didn't know something was wrong."

-"It's ok, now you know." Replies the elf, sighing.

Amber, slightly worried tells, without waiting his turn to talk :

-"Maybe we should speed up a bit. Symone, remember your friend needs help really fast."

-"Of course, I've been constantly having him in mind since yesterday... Ywain, would you mind helping us ?"

The faun does not lose time to answer, indeed he would be delighted to help a friend's friend, even though helping him would mean helping a demon, which is something he absolutely hates.

So Ywain proposes to Symone to give the entire crew enough food for the journey but Amber stops the faun and tells that he wonders about how they'll pay for that much supplies. Ywain reassures them that they'll only have to pay half the price for all the stock he'll give to them. The blond pirate accepts that deal really quickly, before the faun changes his mind.

The blond pirate can make decisions like this because he is the quartermaster of this crew, replacing his best friend who has been expelled from the crew a long time ago. It means that he is the captain's right hand, he is in charge when the Captain is not around. He is also in charge of food and water supplies, so that's why he interferes here.

After more and more time conversing all together, Amber suggests for them to go back to the crew, who are probably waiting for them. So they all quickly go back there, Ywain is coming with them to help a bit, having the supplies Amber accepted in his carriage still pulled by the donkey.

Arriving at the new boat, Gwenchlan sees Amber coming with the other ones, she asks, almost scolding the blond one :

-"Where were you ?"

Amber starts to feel uncomfortable having to explain this situation to his superior but the captain suddenly notices the small faun and all the food they gathered here, she exclaims joyfully :

-"Oh dear ! You brought food for our journey ! Oh by the way I am Captain Gwenchlan but everyone calls me Treasure Stealer, you should do so !"

The blond pirate is ready to explain that the supplies aren't free, so he talks :

-"By the way, Captain.. uh.. the food won't be for free."

She starts yelling at him uncontrollably, not caring about the other ones around them :

-"How dare you spend our money without telling me first ?!"

Seeing this happening, the faun can’t just stay without doing a thing, so he approaches Gwenchlan and talks, while they are still arguing :

-"Please don't fight over this ! I made it only half the original price, I still can reduce it if needed !"

Then the Captain suddenly stops talking after hearing the word 'reduce', she turns to face the faun and politely declines his offer. She doesn't want to take advantage of the situation even though she is a pirate and really wants to spend as little money as she can. So she'll just go with half the original price, which is already a really great reduction.

After they put all the furniture in the boat, Gwenchlan decides to go straight to the capital, going by the Western coast. As said before, the guards and even the king aren't keeping an eye on the seas, which is quite weird.
