The Haunting Halls of the Past (Season 1 episode 6)

The Haunting Halls of the Past (Season 1 episode 6)

Sep 22, 2025

"Let's examine the Hall of Fame, which may provide us with information, as it features statues of every member, including Lee and Maya," Timmy said.

"That might be a good idea!" Sahara responded.

Timmy skipped as they walked to the Hall of Fame. Contrary to the naming convention, the Hall of Fame was actually a large circular room at the top of the skyscraper. It was nearly impossible to actually see from the foot of the building, but fifteen massive stained glass windows stood over the fifteen statues of the heroes kept in the Hall of Fame. What was weird, though, was when they entered the room, they noticed that one was missing the stained glass panes. It was Basil Veil's section of the Hall of Fame, which actually stood right next to Maya's section. In the center of the circular room, there was something unique. There were statues of the Seven original Sages; the only two that both of them seem to recognize were Yi-chen and Karim. Their statues were placed circling a wishing well in the center of the room. The dome of the room was very ornate, covered in different constellations. Both of them stopped in all from the way the fifteen different sections of the room were lit up by different colors. The first section was Peri's, which was the only section that was multicolored. The stained glass window showed an image of her in color, whereas the marble statue was pure white, lit up by the rainbow colors of the stained glass window behind it. They did not have to travel far to see Lee's statue, as he was the second hero in the Hall of Fame. A massive magenta-stained glass window caused his section of the room to be almost entirely a bright purple color. His statue actually had a model of his staff. As they both looked at it, they recognized that the star-shaped crystal at the top of it had to be the same type of gemstone that Maya's mother had, and Perry was wearing.

"It feels so weird seeing this, as I never really got to meet my father; at least I don't really remember him. He definitely had one of the crystals," Sahara said.

"I'm going to read the transcript under his statue. Master of magic, a life so tragic. One of the first, only to become one of the last. The dye he does not cast, he who could not escape the past. In his hands, he holds the right to the purple charoite. Now that the journey is done, he will no longer have fun. Now the curtain has just called for the one who saved us all. The Crown of Aether now remains neither. As it appears to be gone with the ether." Timmy wasn't entirely sure if what he just read out loud was correct.

"The good news is, this is kind of info as vague as it is. I forgot that they entirely did these as poems. What I think it means is that whatever that gemstone is was related to Aether, which was a recognized type of magic before Lee died. After my father's death, though it stopped being considered a type of magic because no one else could replicate it anymore, which I think the poem is trying to reflect. That said, the poem could actually be talking about the gemstone in some capacity because it could be connected with the type of magic, though I'm not certain. One thing is clear, though, the actual gemstone itself was actually a charoite. Unfortunately, this does not give us much information on what Paige's likely to be because it seems like all of the gemstones are actually different." Sahara stated.

They decided to go to the Maya statue, but they actually stopped in their tracks when they passed the next one. This is because they realized hidden in Heatan's sword was a triangular gemstone, meaning he likely also had one. His window was pink, and they deduced from the image in the window that the Triangular gemstone that he also had within his sword was also pink. They did not know if Heatan was still around, though.

"I would love to ask questions to Heatan, but I don't know if he's still alive. I know he's supposedly an Angelic Prince, but how are we supposed to know if he's still alive? Also, what if he's not even on Earth to ask him the questions we need to about the gemstones? I wish we had access to it, but I think we can pass most of the others because I don't think they have gemstones, but there's another one I want to check out, Naomi's." Sahara said.

Timmy actually understood her process, even though Sahara didn't directly communicate that it was because Naomi was the hero with crystal magic. This meant she could also have a gemstone similar to the ones that they were researching. This would also confirm more information because no one actually knew where Naomi got her powers from. This was because there was something off about her powers compared to the other Heroes. They saw that none of the other Heroes that they were looking at had gemstones. Then they got to the eleventh hero, Jay, who was right beside Naomi's statue. Jay had an interesting earring in the shape of an X, which was gray in color. However, neither of them could confirm if it was a gemstone or not, so they moved straight to Naomi's. There was a very clear scarlet red diamond all over her suit; they couldn't tell which one could be the one she likely used. They both believed that one of those diamonds was actually likely another gemstone like the others. Then they started to go to Maya's, but they stopped in their tracks for a different reason because they stepped in front of the fourteenth hero, Basil's statue, headless. It did not look like the statue was meant to be headless; it looked like it had been smashed. The Pegasus that Basil was sitting on also had their head smashed. Along with the window above the statue, which would have depicted Basil. What was so interesting about this is that Basil was actually one of the seven sages and was one of the most important to Platinum City's history. This is because they were the founder of the city, and all of the statues Platinum had of Basil were veiled with no face sculpted beneath. This meant no one actually knew what Basil looked like. This is because it had been almost a thousand years since Basil had last been seen out of the heroes in the Hall of Fame. This was weird because Basil was actually a sage and therefore, should have had some sort of level of eternal youth. This means that after becoming a sage, Basil would not have aged. This is why Basil was presumed dead by all of society. Then they finally made it to Maya's statue.
