Both them has now arrived at the village where they first met a few days ago after a few hours walking through forests and plains. They are walking in the place, silently, not knowing what to talk about. The two men are now arriving at the centre of the village, welcomed by some villagers who saw them coming from afar. One of the villagers walks to Lang Xinya and kindly say :

-"You finally came !"

Lang Xinya smiles back to them and is about to greet the villager but they don't let him speak :

-"Now go get to work !" Pointing at the small house and looking angrily at the two young men.

Both the young men listen to that order and just head to the house. After a few seconds of walk, they finally reach the destroyed house, a bunch of tools and materials even welcome them right in front of the small habitation, ready to be used.

Yao Qiu takes a closer look at the tools, he actually never used one of those before, in both of his lives. After looking at the tools he looks at Lang Xinya with a concerned face. The latter isn’t seeing that Yao Qiu is actually looking straight at his face, he just walks inside the house to clean it up before starting repairing it.

After repairing the small house for a few hours, Yao Qiu decides to get out of the place, feeling exhausted. He takes some rest, sitting on the floor a bit farther from the house, while Lang Xinya is inside, still repairing the damaged building.

As the demon master is sitting on the floor, he watches his hands, as he keeps staring at them, he sees a weird and smooth white light slowly appearing. At first Yao Qiu wonders if he is going completely insane because of all the work and heat. All of what is happening now is in fact taking place during summer.

Then Yao Qiu thinks that his glowing hands could just be some dust, he decides to go to a pond really close to the house to put his hands in the clean and fresh water but the light is still here. It is glowing even more, not knowing what it is, he indeed starts to panic.

So he lets a soft scream of fear out of his mouth, to be sure to not get anyone's attention but it doesn’t work, Lang Xinya, who has a very good hearing, instantly heard this soft noise from the inside of the house. The demon hunter yells, asking from the inside of the house :

-"What’s wrong ?"

But before Lang Xinya has time to get out of the habitation, Yao Qiu looks all around him, searching for a place to hide and to understand what's wrong with his hands that are glowing even more than before.

After swiping his eyes from left to right, his eyes finally meet with a... pile of cow muck... he thinks it can be a great idea to just jump and hide inside of it, so he does, with no hesitation. Plus he uses that action as an excuse to answer to Lang Xinya :

-"Uh.. I fell.. in a, in a pile of muck.. sorry."

Right after that Yao Qiu looks at his own hands again to see that the mysterious light has finally disappeared. Lang Xinya arrives in front of the demon master after looking for him for not even a few seconds, Yao Qiu is still sitting and his body entirely covered with cow muck, the smell is also VERY strong. While Lang Xinya is about to throw up he talks :

-"You need to clean yourself up."

After getting out of the muck, they two go towards the village. Yao Qiu is walking, still covered in shit, far behind the other guy, so he doesn't spread the bad smell to Lang Xinya. As soon as they arrive at the village, one of the villagers, the same as the first one they met today, yells :

-"What are you doing here ?! Have you finished your work ?" Then they finally see the one in the back, they keep talking "What the... go take a shower and go back to work !" While pointing at a small cabin next to some houses.

Yao Qiu walks to the small cabin, alone, no one wants to approach him since he stinks. As he enters the small room, he sees a huge wooden bucket filled with cold water, a small wooden scoop is even attached to it with a rope, making sure no one would want to steal the thing.

Yao Qiu hesitantly starts to get naked, in order to clean himself. Now that he is fully naked, he starts to clean himself up, starting by taking off all the muck.

As he is taking off the muck, he discovers his own body, he indeed already has been naked before but he never really looked at his own body.

Yao Qiu sees a nice and muscular body, he must train often and his past self must fight a lot as well. He now looks at his upper body part and sees that there are some demonic tattoos as well, it shows that he has been a demonic master for a long time even though he still looks young.

After a few minutes, Lang Xinya suddenly opens the door, carrying a lot of different types of soaps in his hands. He doesn’t notice that Yao Qiu is completely naked. The demon master jumps out of surprise and tries to hide his body and his tattoos as much as he can.

At this moment, Lang Xinya finally realises that the one in front of him is completely naked so he reflectively throws the soaps at him and violently closes the door, apologizing as much as he can before running away, panicking.

A few minutes later, Yao Qiu had finally finished washing his body. He gets out of the small room and walk back to the villagers, all of it while Lang Xinya is hiding, in disbelief from what he just saw.

The demon master is now wearing some new clothes, from the villagers, so it's still a little dirty and damaged. While he is sitting at a table, drinking some liquor and waiting for Lang Xinya at a cheap bar. After only a few seconds sitting at his seat, he hears a small group of old villagers conversing :

-"That's true ! They'll come back, I know it !"

-"It can't be possible, that is just a legend."

-"No, I'm telling you, Pan Rong is coming back." The villager insists on what they just told to the other one.

Yao Qiu almost chokes on the alcohol and spits it all over the table right in front of him. Which gets someone's attention, a young man approaches Yao Qiu’s table. The other young man seems to be the same age as the demon master, he brazenly scolds the one who is sitting :

-"What have you done ?!"

Yao Qiu apologises in a really shy way, still scared for his life but the other one keeps scolding :

-"Clean it ! Now !"

The victim accepts without flinching and looking on the other's feet’s direction. At this exact moment, Lang Xinya arrives inside the building, after hearing some yells coming from the inside. He wants to make sure no one is in danger.

So the demon hunter enters the bar and approaches the one who yelled at Yao Qiu and asks, calmly but still holding tightly his sword, ready to use it :

-"May I ask you, why are you yelling at this man ?"

Seeing the sword, the one who yelled at the demon master apologizes and goes back to his seat. Then Lang Xinya turns to face Yao Qiu, making sure he doing is fine.

After a short amount of time, they both get out of the place they were in, heading back to the small house. On their way, they suddenly get stopped by the villager who ordered them to repair the small habitation :

-"I saw you two did a great job, I think you can rest for now."

Lang Xinya is thanking them really warmly, before he can talk, the villager keeps talking :

-"I saw you are out of materials to finish building your house ! So tonight you'll both sleep in it and go early tomorrow to get some new materials ! It is really far away, so you have to wake up really early."

Lang Xinya is in disbelief, he thought they finished to rebuild the house and thought they were going to be free but he now has to sleep with the one he just saw naked ?? It obviously feels really weird for him at this moment.
