They are now all following Susu through the forest, that forest isn't that dense, there's just enough flora to not see farther than a few dozens of metres away. They've been walking for about two hours now. There is no time for them to stop walking, since an army of demons is supposedly chasing the small group.

By the way, Lang Xinya is wondering why an angel of darkness would have a vision about other demons, in truth, the demon hunter doesn't really know what an angel of darkness is. In this small group, only Liao Bo knows what this creature really is.

After walking for a few more metres, they suddenly hear a noise that is other than their footsteps or the angel's heavy breath. Lang Xinya stays on his guards in case any creature attacks them by surprise. He isn't completely wrong about it because only a short time after preparing to defend the small group of people and creatures, something jumps out of the forest. It is a tiger and it directly jumps on Lang Xinya !

The poor demon hunter doesn't have time to react even though he was ready for any attack. So he is instantly projected on the floor, the tiger is now trying to scratch Lang Xinya's face but Liao Bo reacts really quickly, she obviously doesn't want to risk losing someone who can kill demons. The tiger is also too powerful for her so she is as well projected on the floor but the tiger keeps trying to hurt Lang Xinya, he must smell really delicious.

The demon hunter tries hard to defend himself, despite him being quite strong, he fails and is about to have his face completely destroyed by a wild tiger.

Yao Qiu decides to react, despite having no weapons he runs to the tiger and jumps on it, trying to disturb it but he is instantly projected as well. Now that he is on the floor, he looks at the beast and frowns his eyebrows, he obviously doesn't want Lang Xinya to die. He is in fact starting to like him.

So right after hitting the floor, he feels an odd sensation in his hands, one he already felt twice before, he gets up and walks in the direction of the tiger, as if he is taken by a grate rage.

As he walks his hands slowly lighten up, he instinctively puts his hands close to each other to create a sphere of light with his weird powers. Then he violently throws the sphere of light he just easily created at the wild tiger, it is like he did that for his entire life. The sphere of light simply goes through the tiger and leaves a huge hole in it, it also kills it instantly.

The tiger falls on Lang Xinya, letting a puddle of blood create itself all around and on the poor demon hunter. He pushes the heavy tiger away from him and looks at the huge hole in it, it seems like a fireball pierced it, the inside of the tiger has been burned, like cooked and the hairs around the hole are burnt as well.

Lang Xinya sits up and wipes off some of the tiger's blood off his face and clothes, then he finally notices Yao Qiu, who is still standing and looking at his own hands, as if he is shocked about what he just did. It is true, the demon master is surprised by what he just did.

Lang Xinya completely gets up and walks to Yao Qiu, he first simply looks at him before asking :

-"Did you just throw a fireball at that tiger ?"

-"I.. I don't know. It's just my powers, the.. The weird light." He keeps staring at his own hands, still surprised.

Lang Xinya ends up by holding Yao Qiu's hands to examine it closely, to see if that "fireball" did any changes or damages to Yao Qiu's soft hands. But he sees nothing, only a slight white smoke comes out of them, as if it shows that his hands used a really huge amount of energy, which is true.

Then Yao Qiu's eyes goes to Lang Xinya's face to look at him properly, he obviously and instantly notices all of the blood, so he asks, wiping some blood of his friend's face with one of his warm hands :

-"Are you ok ? You were suddenly attacked by that huge tiger." Yao Qiu got really confident about getting close to the demon hunter these days.

-"I.. I'm fine, just a bit surprised by that attack."

While those two are questioning each other on their health, Liao Bo is slowly getting up, observed by the angel of darkness, who seems a bit worried, which is pretty weird for a demon beast. After struggling for a bit, she is now fully up, and goes to the Angel, she whispers to it :

-"I'm fine. And don't worry, I'll find a way to free you."

Then she looks around and interrupts the two men by constating :

-"Guys ? Is this the Ancient City Susu was talking about ?" She points at something afar, it is in fact a city surrounded by huge cold grey cobble walls, anyone can see it from this far.

After noticing that the fight against the tiger has ended, Susu simply decides to keep walking to the place where Liao Bo pointed at, so it must be the place. They walk for a few more dozens of minutes before arriving in front of one of the city's gates. Well, it isn't really a gate, it is more like an open arch. Lang Xinya suddenly reacts, Liao Bo as well, they talk at the same time and say :

-"Owh.. What is that strong demon smell ?.." Both in a slightly different sentence of course, otherwise it would be a bit weird and unexpected.

Susu turns around to see the two non-related demon people with their hands covering their nose because of the really strong smell as they said before. So Susu finally realises that not everyone in the group is demon-related. The puppet apologises :

-"Sorry... We forgot you are not demons... This place is full of demons, we spend our free time here. What should we do ?"

They all take some time to think, this city is obviously full of demons due to its smell. By the way, from where they are, they all can see that the Ancient City seems completely empty, they see no one in the streets. After thinking for a bit, Lang Xinya talks :

-"We need to find a way for Liao Bo and I to not be attacked by the demons when coming inside the city. By the way, Susu ? Why are we here ? Why this city ?"

-"We don't know. We just thought it was a nice place to stay for a bit." The puppet simply explains.

On his side, Yao Qiu is thinking about a way to make Liao Bo and Lang Xinya smell like demon masters or just like demons. It is obviously what they need to do to enter and be safe in this city.

It takes a short moment before the demon master realises his headband has never been cleaned, so it has a really strong demonic smell. He takes it off and turns around to face the two non-demon-related people but he has to choose only one person to put the headband on, so he walks to Liao Bo, without a word.

Arriving in front of her, he hesitates a moment, looking at both Liao Bo and Lang Xinya, then he finally takes a few steps beside, to be closer to Lang Xinya. He made his choice. The demon master ups his hands with the headband to Lang Xinya's neck, he wants to tie it there, the demon hunter wonders what he is doing :

-"Why are you handing me your headband ?" He doesn't notice Yao Qiu's forehead demonic tattoo for now. Yao Qiu answers with a soft voice :

-"It has a strong demonic smell. I thought it could help you to be safe in the city."

-"That's nice. But what about Liao Bo ?" He quickly points one of his fingers at her. But she heard their conversation and reassure them :

-"Don't worry about me. I'll take something from the Angel." She friendly slaps Lang Xinya's back.

So the demon master proceeds to tie the stinky piece of fabric around the demon hunter's neck, he softly slides the piece of fabric on Lang Xinya's skin, then he simply and softly ties it well, so it won't fall. Yao Qiu decided to put the headband there because, first it is easier for him to place it since Lang Xinya is a bit taller than the demon master, then because he simply thinks Lang Xinya looks more cute with a necklace. The one wearing the necklace goes a bit closer to Yao Qiu and kind of whispers :

-"I'll keep a bit close to you. In case demons can still smell that I am not one of them. So your demonic smell can spread a bit on me."

He whispers because he obviously knows that what he says is wrong, one's smell cannot go on another one just by standing right next to them. He is whispering so Liao Bo, the one who gave this information earlier, can't hear the lie. It feels like Lang Xinya wants to get closer to Yao Qiu, is it because of the demon master's powers ? Or just because he is interested in him ?

Anyways, Lang Xinya and Yao Qiu are the first entering the city, Yao Qiu is a bit worried that the poorly made necklace doesn't work, so he tries to concentrate on his powers in case a demon would rush on Lang Xinya.
