After a night of sleep on that really uncomfortable bed, Yao Qiu slowly opens his eyes, he is laying down while hugging Lang Xinya, then he finally realises that they are both still completely naked from the night before. He slightly blushes and takes some time to admire the other one's naked body. He is enjoying the view.

A few short seconds after admiring the demon hunter's body, Lang Xinya slightly moves, as when one's about to wake up, so Yao Qiu panics and just closes his eyes to mimic being asleep, still hugging the other one and being completely naked.

The demon hunter has now finished his night and is woken up by the morning daylight, he opens his eyes and sees the scene as well, he doesn't react, not even blushing. Some of his body parts are just hurting a bit because of the hard bed and also because of Yao Qiu, but nothing really serious, he can handle it.

Lang Xinya turns his gaze to look at Yao Qiu's naked body, the demon master is still hugging him and ‘sleeping’ against Lang Xinya's warm torso.

The demon hunter puts one of his hands on the other one's waist before giving a soft kiss on Yao Qiu's forehead tattoo. The demon master finally decides to stop mimicking being asleep. He slowly opens his eyes to end up meeting Lang Xinya's gaze, Yao Qiu slightly blushes even though what happened the night before. The demon hunter slightly smiles at the other one before starting to softly talk :

-"It was really nice."

Then Yao Qiu remembers how he was last night, not really soft with the one he is currently hugging. So he apologises :

-"Erm.. I was maybe a bit hard on you. Sorry for that..." He turns his gaze away from Lang Xinya's face, kind of ashamed. But the demon hunter reassures him :

-"It's fine, I liked it anyway."

Lang Xinya moves his hand from Yao Qiu's waist to his face, letting his hand slide on the demon master's naked body, then he gives Yao Qiu's lips a kiss. The demon master accompanies him in that kiss, putting a hand on Lang Xinya's neck as well. It feels like they are ready for another round, a morning one and it also feels like they even became romantically close in only one night.

This time, Lang Xinya naturally goes and sits on the demon master's naked laps while still kissing him. But something suddenly interrupts them, it is a really loud knocking noise, they both stop kissing to first hear where it is from.

After hearing it again, as loud as before, Lang Xinya gets off of Yao Qiu and quickly dresses up before grabbing his sword, ready to fight any enemies. The door suddenly and violently opens by sliding, Liao Bo is standing in front of the two men's bedroom, looking a bit mad, her eyebrows are indeed frowned. The demon hunter is about to attack when he realises it is only her.

Liao Bo scolds the two men, almost yelling :

-"I heard you last night ! Don't even think about doing that again ! My sleep is precious !"

She points at Lang Xinya and Yao Qiu one at a time, not caring that one of them is completely naked. Then she keeps angrily talking :

-"You ! Dress up ! We need to find what that friend of yours, whatever is his name, really did about this city !" She keeps pointing at Yao Qiu, not being impressed about his tattooed body.

Yao Qiu blushes and suddenly hides his body, he is surprised to hear that they weren't discreet last night. He takes his own clothes to hide his face from becoming extremely red.

-"What's wrong with him now ?.." Liao Bo points out, before her stomach calls for food, so she just walks away in hope to find anything edible in this desert city.

Lang Xinya turns his head to look at Yao Qiu, still hiding under his clothes and blushing. Lang Xinya slightly laughs before walking to him, taking the clothes away from his head to help him to dress up while talking :

-"Come on. She'll tell nobody plus I bet she won't talk about it anymore. Let's go search for some food, I'm starving."

After dressing up properly, Yao Qiu finally grabs the piece of cloth that was originally on his forehead to softly put it back around Lang Xinya's neck before talking :

-"Yeah, let's go grab some food. I'm starving as well."

They are all now outside of the destroyed building, before starting to walk in any direction, they just look around and see that there is still nobody, not even a demon lost in those streets. It feels a bit weird since Susu affirmed that there are a lot of demons in this abandoned city. The whole place is quiet. Too quiet.

They first decide to walk around the huge destroyed building but since the city has been attacked by demons something like 80 years ago, there is obviously no food or similar thing to that. So they decide to walk to the arch they used to enter the Ancient City at first.

Lang Xinya is still walking right next to Yao Qiu despite having way more of the demon master's smell on him, the demon hunter also has his sword in hand, still ready to fight any demon coming close to the small group.

Arriving close to the entry arch, Yao Qiu suddenly stops walking, letting the other ones walk outside of the city by themselves. The demon master stopped walking because he sensed something. Something really familiar, but it is also something he hasn't sensed for a really long time, for a 100 years in fact.

Because it has been so long, Yao Qiu is shocked by sensing that familiar demon hunter smell but it is also slightly modified from his memory. After walking for a few more metres, Lang Xinya finally realises that the demon master isn't walking with the group of people anymore so he orders the other ones to stop before turning around and asking, from afar :

-"What's wrong Yao Qiu ?"

But Yao Qiu says nothing, he doesn't explain what bothers him, he just starts to look around. It is like he is looking for something or someone. He is indeed looking for the source of the smell he senses. After only a few seconds looking around, he finally notices something from afar, it seems to be a wooden moving stall but what is really suspicious is that it wasn't here the day before. So he fully faces it and signs the other ones to come and see.

Lang Xinya approaches first, arriving at Yao Qiu's level he grabs his arm, ready to tell him to follow the rest of the small group but he quickly notices what Yao Qiu is staring at. So the demon hunter talks :

-"What's that...?"

Curious, the rest of the group come as well. With a really good eyesight, Liao Bo talks after examining the far away thing for a minute :

-"Is that... A food stall ?"

-"Let's see what it is." Says Lang Xinya, curious yet really careful about the situation.

Arriving at this mysterious stall, they all walk really carefully and slowly to it. Lang Xinya placing one of his arms right in front of Yao Qiu in order to protect him, he naturally does that despite the demon master not needing protection for now.

On the other side of the stall, a man is hiding his face with his long black hair and a large hat. This mysterious man is also dressed in all black colour but his outfit is damaged, not damaged as it would be after a fight, his clothes only seem extremely old. The nail from his pinky finger is really long and painted black while his other nails are shorter than this one but still a bit long. An extremely strong demonic smell emanates from this man.

Yao Qiu is still perplexed by what he senses coming from that mysterious man, so he decides to talk first :

-"What are you doing here ? And who are you ?"

The demon master asks those simple questions, but the answer the other man gives isn't what he expected to hear :

-"Don't you recognise me, Hong Zihan...?"

Yao Qiu suddenly takes a step back, surprised that this person knows his past life's name. Before he can question about 'Hong Zihan', as the demon hunter and the demon killer don’t know about Yao Qiu being a transmigrated person, the one behind the stall talks again :

-"Let me refresh your memory, because you don't seem to remember me. I am Liu Hien, Pan Rong's favourite demon hunter turned to demonism."

This brief description gives Yao Qiu chills, he almost falls on the dusty ground but is quickly caught by Lang Xinya. The demon hunter wonders why his friend had this kind of reaction. While holding Yao Qiu, he softly and discreetly asks him, as if no one is around them :

-"What's wrong ?"

The demon hunter actually forgot that this Liu Hien is in fact the one who supposedly sent hundreds of demons to destroy this city a really long time ago. For now, he just worries about Yao Qiu's health, scared for him to faint again.

But Yao Qiu is too busy staring at Liu Hien, the demon master arch an eyebrow, then walks closer to the one who was his best friend a 100 years ago to aggressively ask :

-"What have you done ? And how are you still alive ?!" Not caring about the other ones around.

While starting to get angry, Yao Qiu's fists slowly start to glow, so Lang Xinya tries to calm the demon master down. But he fails. Yao Qiu's power keeps growing really slowly. Yao Qiu keeps talking angrily :

-"Answer ! How are you still alive ?"

-"First, calm down."

Liu Hien says, then he softly whistles to attract enough possessed bodies to surround the five people in front of him. Then he keeps talking :

-"I am alive because my great master gave me eternal life before being sent to that cursed jail because of you ! But, happily, you died, so I suddenly became free to fully turn to demonism."

He takes a short pause before he continues talking :

-"And then... You transmigrated. Isn't life way better as a demon master ? Huh ?"

Among the five people in front of Liu Hien, only Yao Qiu understands what he is talking about since all that he is saying really happened. Yao Qiu is also panicked about Liu Hien saying that, from what he remembers, the demon master can be dead again if people discover that he is just a transmigrated person. Lang Xinya isn't trusting a word coming from that mysterious man's mouth, of course the demon hunter really doesn't believe in transmigration.

On her side, Liao Bo does believe in transmigration so she'll keep in mind that Yao Qiu might be a transmigrated person, but she doesn't trust the one in front of her either. She indeed wouldn’t trust someone related to demonism, anyone else than Yao Qiu indeed.

Lang Xinya decides to step forward and addresses the one with long nails :

-"What are you talking about ? Stop making up lies, transmigration isn't real !"

It kinds of make Yao Qiu less worry about the situation thanks to Lang Xinya’s childish reaction about him not believing what the one behind the stall is saying. Liu Hien is maybe just lying about himself and everything he is talking about, that is what the demon hunter thinks right now.

-"I am not lying. If you want proof about transmigration, just look next to you."

Yao Qiu's anger keeps growing, anyone can guess because of his facial expression but also because of his fists being fully glowing with a white light now. He's ready to throw a sphere of light to his past life’s best friend, Liu Hien. The one behind the empty wooden stall instantly notices that, so he talks, to trigger Yao Qiu even more :

-"What ? Are you going to attack me ? You were already too weak to defeat Pan Rong, you obviously can't hurt me. Not even slightly."
