Backstory :

Eiji is the eldest of five siblings in a feared Yakuza family.

His father, Ren: cold, strict, and distant.
His mother, Hana: warm and loving — the person Eiji cherishes most.

Growing up, he endured harsh discipline as the first-born. By his teens, he rebelled, living recklessly until a near-fatal accident with his best friend forced him to grow up. At 20, he was entrusted with his own Yakuza group.

At 25, a mission explosion left him deaf. He now uses hearing aids when needed and communicates fluently in sign language. In the same year they lost Yuta.

Eiji thrives in the Yakuza life: it gives him freedom, power, and danger — all things he craves. But sometimes, when the weight of the responsability as a heir is draining and feel suffocating, he wish that someone could see him underneath the mask of the Yakuza Heir, someone that could really love him for who he is. Someone who could see him as Eiji.
