Chosen Ones: Spaces Rip
Chapter 1
My name you ask? Well, finally a girl in this universe gets recognition. There’s a serious problem with these files, and wow, it’s against everyone. Anyway, my name is Ellie Smith. Who is that you ask? I’ve only shown up once I think, you can try and find me. I don’t think I’m that noticeable, I didn’t even know magic existed before this. But I do have quite the story before then though, wow. Quite a story. In this new world we’re living in it’s not uncommon for magic to leak into other worlds. This one though, this magic was something I tell ya. I was raised as a human by normal people with normal lives, I had everything I needed. Food, friends, family. Everything was perfect, until my powers set in. Yep! There it is.
Ellie was happily walking down the street listening to The Man by Taylor Swift. Ellie was a twelve year old, and lived in New York City. She lived on the far side of New York, where nothing weird happened. As her parents say at least. She was going to the bus stop to her new boarding school, sure without her parents knowing she was already gone, but does that part even matter? It did, really did.
Ellie stopped at the bus stop to see two kids fighting a giant lizard, one was slightly glowing a hue of red. The other was waving his hands in the air, making strange gestures and waves of light came from his hands. She turned around and started walking to another bus stop, hopefully not infested with monsters.
Ellie sighed, “Alright, nothing much. Just a detour. Not like I just saw a giant lizard and a flying man.”
Then a man walked in front of her, his robes looked strange, they had strange legs. I’m not trying to be rude, in New York you see a lot of weird things but this guy’s legs were like, knocked. Two knees. He turned to me and his face was worse, fangs, and what looked like horns.
He smiled, I think. “Hello young one, you’ve seen things haven’t you?”
Ok don’t be mad at me for what I said next, but can you blame me? “What’s wrong with your face?!” I fell to the ground, and scrambled to get away.
The man scrunched his nose, then walked closer. “It doesn’t matter anything you say right now, you won’t remember this.”
The man started creating yellow wisps in his hands, Ellie then felt a strange pull coming from his hands. She balled her fist, trying to resist it. She felt it coming over her mind. She felt energy coming from her now, maybe it was from the man, maybe she was making it. “No, no!”
A wave of blue energy absorbed the man’s power. The man looked so confused, “What is this!” His energy was completely gone and only the weird blue energy coming out of her remained. “What are you?”
Ellie looked at him, “What am I? What are you!”
He summoned some kind of light and shot it at her, more blue light appeared, but it didn’t catch it. Ellie was flung back and flew straight over a fence. Ellie felt a strong pain in her shoulder, but it almost went away immediately. Ellie looked at the man in the alley, who was just looking at her.
“Who are you?” He yelled, suddenly he was right in front of her. He grabbed her and he started to lift off the ground a bit.
“I’m Ellie Smith! And you have no idea what I can do!” Ellie didn’t know what she could do either, but hey, makes it more exciting. Ellie summoned all her energy and forced it out. A blue burst of energy erupted from her palm, and hit the man straight in the chest. He was flung into the fence, and seemed hurt. Ellie tried to bring back whatever that blue stuff was before he got up, but nothing was working. “Alright, whatever you are, can you please just help me get out of here!” Suddenly it came back to her hands, “Yes!” Then behind her a blue light appeared and she was sucked into a tunnel of some kind, the other end of it closed. She looked around her, and couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She was in some kind of tunnel, and flying through it into the vastness of space and stuff. She turned around to see multiple tunnels leading into a giant building, and a lot more leading into other things, big things. Giant bubbles, the size of planets sized bubbles. Then she realized she was flying straight toward one of the bubbles, she couldn’t hear herself but was pretty sure she was screaming before she blacked out.
