The TV Heads are the primary workforce of the megacorporation Grand Achat in the post-alien-invasion wasteland. They're stuck in one of the only "stable" jobs left, a role described as soul-crushing and severely underpaid.
Their defining feature is the oversized, television-shaped helmet they are required to wear. The helmet isn't a fashion statement, but a uniform. It's a guarantee that they remain anonymous, identical, and, most importantly, easily replaced by the next victim of corporate servitude.
They are living proof that stability comes at a high price: the total loss of their identity.
