15 minutes later in the back seat of the car, Marinette's emotion had abated- anger had now taken its place. He had decided to disobey her father. There was nothing else she could, she couldn't lose Adrien and her father would never understand her love for him. Her father was barely speaking to her. But Marinette didn't care - to her all that mattered now was Adrien. She only hope was the letter lying in her pocket would safely reach the person it was addressed to.
Tom Dupain was in shock. This was the first time Marinette had opposed him. His daughter had not even looked at him once after she came out of her room. Guilt threatened to consume him as he sat there. Tom now regretted what he said to his daughter.
Noelle sitting in the driver's seat beside him could feel the remorse radiating off him. She could not help feeling sorry for him. In all those years she had worked for him, she had grown to like - or even - love him. She knew that inside of his stone-cold exterior, he had always loved his daughter. He had always tried his best to show Marinette his love, but he was never able to help Marinette understand. Noelle knew that man behind the mask, she knew his shortcomings, she knew his distress, she knew his efforts to bring back Sabine, and - she loved him for it.
"I almost lost you once because of my silence. I won't make that mistake again"
What if Marinette realizes that she was slowly falling in love with Adrien? What if Marinette begins to like Luka more than as 'just a friend'? What would Marinate do to get him back? Would Lila remain silent - Would Luka?
What if Tom is now slowly falling in love with his assistant? Would Noelle love him back? Would Hawkmoth realize his former mistakes? Would he give up his miraculous? Would he now try to become the father his daughter needs?
Would Paris once again become the wonderful city of love it once was?
