Announcement! DVD Commentary is Coming!

For all the young folks here who may not know, back when movies and TV shows were commonly viewed on physical media (back in the 1990s!), the best DVDs typically included creator commentary tracks. It was this amazing feature where they dropped out the audio of a film and you got to listen to the thoughts of the filmmakers AS they watched the movie with you. They were the best- and they could be so colorful (and raw too) having been recorded at a time when passions still ran high for their art, or lack thereof, and weird 'lil nuggets might come out of their mouths. But they could feel so intimate, and the best ones (like my personal favorite- Kevin Smith’s “Chasing Amy”) just felt like you were hanging out with your favorite filmmaker, hearing stories about them making the thing you loved.
So in that spirit, we're going to re-run some episodes (starting next week) with creator commentary. Pop on over, hang out with us, and we hope you enjoy pushing some more whimsy with us.
