“Your Vampire blood is showing.” Kliona told him dryly.
“Why thank-you!” He responded with a smile, “I take great pride in that!”
“Why...?” She asked, confused.
“Why not?” He countered.
“That's a fair response.” Petalsoft interrupted with a frown and furrowed brows, as she continued analyzing the suit redesigns, “I know some people are made to feel ashamed of bing of mixed heritage, but I didn't think that you would ascribe to such thinking Kliona.”
Kliona had the grace to be embarrased and apologize to him.
"It's quite alright," He replied, "I'm well aware that you have no idea what Vampires truly were, or are, and only know them by their... Questionable... Reputation among the self-described Homo Sapien Sapiens." He turned to Petalsoft and added, "She would have had the same question for anyone descended from Vikings who took pride in their Viking heritage... They did do things that no one should ever take pride in."
"Such as?" Petalsoft asked, head tilting.
He explained and by the time he was finished Petalsoft was horrified. She thought for a moment then turned to Kliona and said, “Vampires are blood healers who drank the blood of the sick in order to provide a cure via their own bodies.”
Kliona's eyes went wide.
“Oh.” She said, then turned to the gentleman, “You take pride in being descended from healers?”
“They save lives at their own expense and well-being.” He pointed out.
She thought about that for a moment, then said, “I understand.”
"Has anyone seen where Leo went? Or when?" Faery interrupted.
"You were the last person with him." Kliona told her.
Faery sighed and said, "Great. Not again."
Petalsoft didn't ask who Leo was, figuring that she would meet him later. She was more concerned by Kliona's designs. Perhaps they could remove the sashes? Replace them with some flashy belts? Also, the sides of the boots would need reinforcing; both of the teens seemed to have a low amount of muscle there, so they were likely to get a dislocated joint if they didn't take precautions. Petalsoft knew exactly how painful that could be. The reinforcement could be disguised with a filigree design, or vines, or something similar... The hair bag would also have to go. Coating their hair with the nanites should do the trick just fine if they use the diadems as the anchor point. Besides, the nanites could also change the hair colour if they did things that way. It would help prevent the teens from being identified by the wrong people.
Maybe something could be added for a readout display? What did they call them again...? Sunglasses? Visors? Regardless, something could be attached to the diadem. They should have something to help them interact more easily with the System now embedded in their bodies. Without having an exterior confirmation it would be easy to make the mistake of thinking that it was just their imaginations when the System was trying to prompt them.
As for the loose sleeves... A body suit underneath the war dress would be better. Something neutral colored, maybe? No, it's needs to be marketable... Colour themes, perhaps? The hues would have to be complimentary to each other and not mono-coloured. The teen with the gold dress could have an orange body suit to really emphasize the fiery theme she had going on. Would red work better for that? The colours should probably be checked by someone who actually sees in the same spectrum range as Humans. Now that other teen, she had a very interesting problem that the others didn't; she had wings attached to a part of her war dress. The corset would need to be kept in order to continue supporting said wings... However, Petalsoft didn't like the strain that the flexible back was placing on the girl's body. The rest of it would need to stay flexible so that she could breath, but the back would need to be rigid to reduce the strain on her back from maintaining the correct body position for flight... Which might be tricky to design. Petalsoft didn't want to force the girl's back into a position that would give her other health problems afterall...
