Two deities: Kalata and Delgrah 

Delgrah: Deity of destruction, sacrifices, fire, earth and the night (including the moon etc) 

Delgrah got Kalata to create a magical beast that would be its servant. What was created was harpies. However, over time they started to stop serving Delgrah and started to offer sacrifices and offerings as a way to protect the world. 

The body of Delgrah is a red and brown orb but it can form itself into a silhouette of anything that is related to destruction, sacrifices, fire and earth. It cannot form into anything to do with Kalata (Creation, magic, water and air etc)

Each country have their own religion/belief system, but all essentially stem from these two gods, for example the Kalesha Empire believes in both gods exactly as they are although Kalata is called Kalatashi or in the Olsharla Empire they have hundereds of gods but each of them have two forms, one being their 'true form' that is a shape or blob and their 'physical form' that they are capable of changing so when gods are depicted they are shown as a silhouette and a shape/blob in the middle. 

Delgrah and Kalata neither hate nor love each other, they see each other as one being split into two, being one side of the same coin. 

Despite their neutrality to each other they will occasionally get into fights but they will also ask the other for a favour. One example would be Delgrah asking Kalata to create a being that would be their servant, that being becoming the Harpy. 

There are times when either Kalata or Delgrah’s powers start to lose control, in which case they seal themselves into the core of the planet. This is where the belief that Kalata is sealed in the Kalesha empire stemmed from before Kalesha formed into a nature based society.
