Chapter- 18:

Reilivon's past.

A beautiful young omega male leans down towards his child, Reilivon, and smiles, looking down at him.

“Rei-Rei, you're going to get tested today!“ 

Reilivon smiles brightly as he nods, excited.

“Yeah! I'm definitely going to be an alpha like daddy!“ He says confidently.

Another handsome young alpha man chuckles proudly as he ruffles up Reilivon's hair.

“Of course you are! You're going to be a big, strong alpha like me!“ 

Reilivon giggles as he holds both of his parents' hands as they get onto the car. It's a nice day. Reilivon smiles, excited but also quite nervous at the same time… What if he isn't going to be an alpha like his parents wanted him to be? He grows slower than other children as well…

Reilivon fidgets with his hands, anxiety now creeping in as they arrive at the private hospital to get him tested.

The doctor smiles as they approach and comes over.

“Ah, the Recardoz family! Welcome, welcome! Please, come in!“

The pretty omega male smiles as he nods, talking with the doctor who greeted them cheerfully.

“Ah, Doctor Jevin. It's nice to meet you again. We're here to get our son tested for his gender*.“

Doctor Jevin smiles, leading them the way towards room 209.

“Well he has grown up a lot since the last time I saw him. Let's take a blood sample first, eh?“

Reilivon nods, still nervous and anxious as he follows Doctor jevin into the room. The doctor takes out a syringe, which makes Reilivon flinch and shut his eyes close.

Doctor Jevin chuckles prepping, Reilivon's wrist where the blood sample will be taken.

“Relax, buddy! If you're going to be an alpha, you shouldn't be afraid of syringes.“

Reilivon gets startled by those words as he nods, determined. Closing his eyes and sitting upright while Doctor Jevin takes the syringe and places it on Reilivon's wrist. Taking the blood sample, Reilivon trembles but sits firm, not making a noise.

After the blood sample is taken, Doctor Jevin smiles, taking back the syringe and patting Reilivon on his back.

“Great job! Not many kids your age are that brave!“

Reilivon smiles, slightly in pain from the shot, but his mood lifts from Doctor Jevin's words.

The pretty omega pats Reilivon's head, ruffling it up slightly as he looks up at Doctor Jevin.

“So, we'll get the results tomorrow?“

Doctor Jevin nods as he takes off his gloves and cleans the injection.

“Yes. You'll get the results tomorrow as well some medicines along with it. Even though your son is young, he may still go through a rut or heat cycle depending on whether he is an alpha or an omega. If he's a beta, it wouldn't be necessary but…”

He pauses, looking at both the pretty omega and handsome alpha. He later then, chuckles softly.

“But, I doubt it's possible with a dominant omega and a dominant alpha as his parents.“

The handsome alpha grins as he places his arm over Doctor Jevin's shoulder.

“He is my son! I'm sure he'll be a proud alpha. Right, son?“ He looks down at Reilivon.

Reilivon smiles as he nods, eagerly. Excited to know whether he's an alpha or not.

“Yes, Daddy! I'm gonna be the strongest, bravest alpha ever!“

Doctor Jevin smiles at Reilivon's enthusiasm.

“I'm sure you will, buddy. We'll send the results to you tomorrow.“

The pretty omega nods, holding Reilivon's hand.

“Very well, then. Let's head home, shall we, rei-rei?“ 

Reilivon nods, smiling brightly as he holds both of his father's hands.

“Yeah! Can we get some cake on the way?“

The handsome alpha grins as he lifts up Reilivon onto his shoulder, placing him on there.

“Of course, buddy! You we're so brave today. You deserve a reward!“

Reilivon smiles brightly as he nods.

“Yeah!“

The next day… The pretty omega smiles as he hugs Reilivon immediately as he gets out of bed.

“Rei-rei! Your an alpha!“

Reilivon, who is still tired blinks a few times to regain consciousness. After a bit of processing his eyes widen as he looks up at the pretty omega.

“I-Im an alpha?!“ His voice sounds shocked, but also very happy.

The handsome alpha ruffles up Reilivon's hair making it messy.

“Yeah, buddy! You're an alpha!“

Reilivon smiles… as tears of joy flow down his eyes as he immediately dashes into his room.

“I'm going to get ready and tell all my friends at the park!“ 

The handsome alpha smirks as he lifts his arm.

“Get going, kiddo!“

Reilivon scampers out of his house and rushes out to the park, seeing his friends and waving a hi as they wave a hi back.

“GUYS! Guess what?! I'm an alpha!“ 

The two boys look at Reilivon, surprised and shocked.

“No way! Aren't you supposed to be an omega? You look nothing like an alpha!“

Reilivon flinches. That was not the response he had anticipated from his friends.

“I'm an alpha tho-! I got tested yesterday!“

The two boys laugh as they come closer and push Reilivon down.

“Haha! As if! You're an omega! Dont lie!“

Reilivon stumbles back and plops down onto the ground as he sniffles, looking up at them.

“I-I am an alpha!“

The two boys snicker, looking down at Reilivon with a mischievous grin.

“You're way too girlie to be an alpha. And short too.“

Reilivon closes his mouth shut, glaring up at the two but unable to do anything. As he's about to give up, a voice suddenly speaks up.

“Hey, Stop doing that!“ 

Reilivon's eyes widen as he turns to look at the person of whom the voice belonged too… XinLao. His heart thumped the moment he saw him as he freezes, confused.

The two boys flinch as they see XinLao and back away.

T-T-The devil's child-! Mommy!“ Their voice stutters as they run away.

Reilivon watches the two boys run away and slightly snickers as he looks up at XinLao extending a hand down towards him. XinLao sighs as he says,

“If you're an alpha, you shouldn't let people walk over you.“

Reilivon blinks a few times as he smiles, and grabs XinLao's hands roughly and gets up.

“That's true. Thanks for the help tho!“

XinLao freezes, flustered ever so slightly as he looks away. 

“… what's…. What's your name…?” He asks, hesitantly as he avoids eye contact.

Reilivon smiles as he holds both of XinLao's hands, clasping them into his.

“I'm Reilivon Recardoz! You can just call me Reil if you like! Nice to meet you!“

XinLao flinches, looking at Reilivon. Reilivon tilts his head curiously, with a bright smile on his face.

“I…I'm XinLao Jinho… you… can call me Xin… And, nice to meet you too…?“

Reilivon grins as he says, excitedly.

“Nice to meet you, Xin! Wanna be friends?“

XinLao freezes at the suggestion everyone slightly, his heart beating slowly, picking up it's pace as he nods, a smile forming at the corners of his mouth.

“Y-yeah…”
