When the Star Riders enter the Championship, they see a list of Teams that have entered the tournament. Among the names is Ragnarök and their leader King Drasil. With this knowledge, the Star riders can focus on winning the matches and reaching Ragnarök. Their first opponent is Team Rough-hounds, a team Lucian and Fenrir have personal history with. At the very least, these roughriders have a proper team name for once. Regardless, the Star Riders hop into the driver’s seat of their mechs and prepare for the first match.

The first match is about to begin as the Announcer names the teams. The Star Riders are the first to enter the arena as the crowd cheers for them. At the same time, the Rough-hounds also enter the arena with boos from the crowd. The team is comprised of a Coyote unit as the leader followed by a gray fox unit and a dire wolf unit. Upon entering, the Leader of the Rough-hounds immediately recognizes Fenrir and Lucian.

“Well, well. Who could’ve guessed I would run into you again. I’m going to enjoy tearing your metal mutt apart!” Says the Leader of the Rough-hounds, still furious over the last time he fought Lucian and Fenrir.

Lucian and Fenrir can’t help but roll their eyes upon hearing the Leaders voice.

“This guy just doesn’t know when to quit. What do you say Fenrir? Ready to kick this guy’s ass again?” Asks Lucian.

“With pleasure Lucian.” Says Fenrir as he cracks his neck in anticipation.

The fight is off to a raving start as Jotun shoulder tackles the dire wolf to the ground. While this is going on, Valkyrie engages in a battle of speed with the grey fox. That just leaves Fenrir and the Leader. The two canine units begin to circle each other, waiting for who would make a move first. Suddenly, Fenrir and the Leader charge at each other at full speed. From there, Fenrir sunk his teeth into the should of the Leaders coyote unit. The Leader counters by using ramming Fenrir against a wall. Fenrir then transforms into his knight form, catching the Leader off guard long enough for the coyote to lose its front right leg. This fills the Leader with rage upon seeing this ability for himself.

“You think that fancy trick will get you far?! This match is mine and I will turn your mech to scrap metal!” Says a very furious Leader.

The Leader makes one last push by charging at Fenrir. Fenrir then swings his sword and slices the coyote in two. The coyote unit then falls to the ground and ceases function. With the Leader dealt with, Lucian and Fenrir try to regroup with the others only to find that they had dealt with their opponents. Jotun had used his strength to break the dire wolfs back while the grey fox is nowhere to be found. That is when a loud thud occurred from behind. Lucian and Fenrir find the grey fox after Valkyrie had dropped it from above. Valkyrie then lands on top of the fox. The crowd cheers on the victory of the Star Riders. With one match down, the Star Riders are allowed to continue with the Championship.

After the match, the Star Riders make whatever repairs they can. While they do this, the Star Riders get word on the outcome of Ragnarök’s match. The match might as well be a bloodbath for the team they were facing, the Sky Divers, got completely destroyed with one of them ending up in a coma. Knowing this, the Star Riders are now even for determined to take down Ragnarök. All the while, Fenrir can sense Fury’s presence.

“You okay there Fenrir?” Asks a concerned Lucian.

“Its Fury. I can sense him but I have no idea where he is.” Says Fenrir

“If he’s with Ragnarök, then we are just going to have to take him down as well.” Says Lucian, trying to reassure Fenrir.

“Yeah. Maybe you’re right. I just can’t help feel something off with him.” Says Fenrir.

Before they could ponder the thought, the next match is about the start soon. The Star Riders get into their mechs and prepare for second set of matches in the Championship.
