The Rainy Love Story ( Orginal Version )

Dance Practice & The Toe Incident

Dance Practice & The Toe Incident

Nov 03, 2025

After school, Aarya and Hiten reached his house, the excitement practically buzzing between them. They cleared a space in the living room, moving a few chairs aside, and began their first attempt at choreographing the dance. Hiten’s eyes widened as he tried to picture himself moving in sync with her.

“Wait… we’re performing on stage in front of everyone, and I… I don’t even know a single step!” he exclaimed, flailing his arms dramatically.

Aarya giggled, shaking her head. “Relax! I’ll guide you. We’ll make it fun. You’ll see—it won’t be that bad!”

The first few steps were chaotic. Hiten tripped over his own feet, flailed, and almost collided with the furniture. Aarya had to duck and dodge to avoid getting knocked over, laughing the whole time. “Hiten! Careful! You’re going to hurt yourself!” she warned, though her eyes sparkled with amusement.

He tried again, this time stepping gingerly… but then his foot slipped, and he stumbled right onto Aarya’s foot. She yelped and hopped on one leg, clutching her toe.

“Oh no! Your toe!” Hiten shouted, immediately kneeling beside her. Without thinking, he lifted her foot gently onto his lap and pressed an ice pack against it. “I’m really sorry! Are you okay?”

Aarya winced just slightly but smiled reassuringly. “It’s okay… really, it’s not that bad.”

Hiten shook his head, looking deeply into her eyes. “No, it’s not just about the pain. You are my Aarya. If you’re hurting, I’m hurting even more. Since the day you said yes… everything about you belongs to me. I will always take care of you, no matter what happens. I belong to you, and you are totally mine.”

Aarya’s eyes softened as warmth spread through her chest. Overcome by his care and sincerity, she hugged him tightly. “I’m so lucky that I got you,” she whispered. Hiten smiled softly, returning the hug, feeling her heartbeat against his chest, a quiet promise settling in his heart.

After a few seconds, they pulled back, both blushing slightly. Aarya wiggled her toe to make sure it was okay. “Ready to dance again?” she asked.

Hiten laughed, still holding her hand. “Yeah… but I swear, if you make me step on your foot again, I’ll… I’ll…” he trailed off with a mock glare. Aarya burst out laughing. “Relax, I’ll be careful!”

The practice continued, slow and careful at first. Hiten’s movements were clumsy and exaggerated, often making Aarya laugh until tears filled her eyes. They tried a few spins, with Hiten almost toppling over, and Aarya had to catch him mid-fall.

“Step to the left, Hiten! No, not the other way!” she corrected, giggling.

“I’m trying! But it’s like my brain refuses to work!” he exclaimed, pretending to faint dramatically.

They practiced every step repeatedly, laughing at each small mistake. Hiten, despite his clumsiness, had a natural rhythm and started picking up the moves. Aarya helped him synchronize with her, adjusting his hands and posture, sometimes holding him a little too close to correct him, which made both of them blush.

During one tricky spin, Hiten stumbled and fell again—this time barely missing a coffee table, but accidentally bumping into Aarya. Both of them landed on the floor in a heap, laughing uncontrollably. “Are you trying to kill me?” Aarya gasped between laughs.

“No! I’m just… adding drama to our performance!” Hiten said, grinning.

By the afternoon, they had practiced every routine enough times to feel confident. Their coordination improved, and the dance began to look smooth. Aarya’s teasing expressions, Hiten’s exaggerated reactions, and their laughter created a bond in the practice, making them feel closer than ever.

Finally, Hiten took a step back and surveyed their work. “Okay… I think we actually got it. Not perfect, but… good enough for the show!”

Aarya smiled proudly. “We did it! Even with your clumsiness,” she teased.

Hiten smirked, pretending to be offended. “Hey! I added the extra flair. That’s performance art!” They both laughed, the room echoing with joy and relief.

With their dance fully practiced and ready for the show, Hiten and Aarya collapsed onto the couch, exhausted but happy. Hiten looked at her with a soft smile, thinking how every clumsy, funny, and sweet moment today had made their bond even stronger.

“Tomorrow’s performance… we’ll be amazing,” Aarya whispered.

Hiten nodded, holding her hand gently. “Yeah… because we’re together.”

And so, after a long day of laughter, clumsiness, and shared moments, they both went home, hearts lighter and excitement for the next day’s performance growing.

Hiten and Aarya’s first dance practice begins… and chaos follows! Between tripped steps, flying arms, and a very unfortunate toe incident, their laughter fills the room. But beneath the clumsiness lies something deeper — care, warmth, and love that’s starting to grow stronger.
