WARNING long update with not great news/ but know that I am still set on working on Thrapt again. Please know I'm never giving up on it.
Again, thank you SO much for your patience with me. I wish I had better news but I also wish things were different with the state of the world right now because it is very much contributing to a lot of heartbreak, difficulty surviving, and it takes every bit of my energy and time keeping myself and my loved ones afloat right now.
My Grandpa and his son are not doing well. I've had to make a difficult decision to stay with them much longer than I planned to help where I can as I am now the most 'able bodied' person in the family now. Which is terrifying me a lot since I'm very much also disabled and my current full time job barely pays for anything.
I was in out and of ERs and Urgent Cares for a bit too and it destroyed me physically and mentally. When that healing for myself started... my cat, my furbaby, my whole world, started showing alarming symptoms a month ago and I took her to the ER. I've only now just gotten her Echo results and...
Her Overall Assessment:
Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Stage C (Congestive Heart Failure) and Cardiorenal Syndrome.
She's responding well to meds which is good at least. She's next to me right now resting, breathing is fine, and currently her lungs are clear of the fluid that had built up.
The symptoms I witnessed was her in active congestive heart failure but has responded very well to the furosemide.
It's taken all of my saving and checking funds to get her this far. I will do everything I can for her and she's my top priority right now. My heart is breaking, but this is what we sign up for being furbaby parents.
My physical health is better thankfully, but my mental health isn't doing good at all and I'm also prioritizing that.
I've been drawing. Slowly but surely. Sending everyone all the love during these difficult times <333
I don’t fully understand what you’re going through, but I send out love and support for your future. My family had to put my old doggy down from a tumor on his head and severe arthritis, so he wouldn’t have to deal with the pain anymore, so I’m so happy to hear that your kitty’s meds seem to be showing good results!!
