Two handsome men emerged from the motel. They were Cylo and Ivo, who had finished resting their bodies and now felt better. They had also changed their clothes, so now they looked more relaxed and like ordinary young men.

“Are you done?” asked Cylo, who was sitting in the driver's seat, as usual.

Ivo sat next to Cylo. He nodded without looking at the white-haired man. “Yeah, I'm done. Let's go.”

“Tsk, you think I'm your driver?” Cylo clicked his tongue, but he still started the car and drove away from the motel.

It was already noon, and since they had completed their mission, they could now return to their respective homes. There was nothing they needed to discuss; they were only temporary partners, so they had to end this meeting.

“But by the way, how did you steal that wallet?” asked Cylo, who was still focused on driving the car. Earlier, he had seen Ivo steal the wallet of one of the motel guests and use the money from the wallet to pay for the motel they were renting.

Ivo looked at Cylo with a smug look. “It's easy, you just need to observe their movements, then distract them, and move your hands quickly to take their wallets.” He moved his hands to demonstrate what he was saying.

Cylo rolled his eyes. “Tsk, you really are a master thief.”

Suddenly, Cylo remembered why the cunning hacker beside him had won the battle for the mind control chipset. It was because Ivo had stolen it from Kenzo. Tsk, it seemed that he also had to learn to steal so that he could use it in urgent situations, but that was very much against his principles.

“Hahaha... stealing is something I've learned since I was a kid. So this is really easy for me,” said Ivo arrogantly.

Cylo immediately frowned. “Are you so poor that you had to learn to steal?”

Ivo immediately turned his gaze to Cylo. “On what basis did you come to that conclusion?” He couldn't accept being called poor. “Of course not. It's just that my foster father taught me to always take advantage of opportunities.”

Cylo finally sighed as he continued to drive the car. “What your foster father said is true. But still, you didn't have to steal money from that old man. I still have enough money to pay for the motel.”

Ivo laughed. “Yes, yes, yes, I was just joking earlier. But seriously, stealing is fun. You should try it.” He handed the wallet to Cylo.

Cylo stared at the wallet Ivo had given him, then turned his gaze back to the road ahead. “I'm not interested in dirty tricks like this.”

"Tsk, whatever. It's your loss because I'm sure someday you'll need this skill." Ivo finally turned his gaze to the road from the car window.

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the car became silent again. Cylo focused on driving the car, while Ivo continued to look out the window. There was no more conversation between these two handsome men. They were busy with their own activities.

The mission to destroy the algorithm at the Black Wolf mafia headquarters was complete. And that meant they would soon part ways because there was nothing else binding them together. Cylo still had many missions to carry out as a hitman. Likewise, Ivo had many missions to complete as a professional hacker. They also did not come from the same camp, so after this, they would part ways.

The car drove at a moderate speed. On their left and right were dense pine forests. They would soon arrive at the intersection.

“Where are you getting off, by the way?” Cylo asked, restarting the conversation.

“I'll get off at the intersection ahead,” replied Ivo, who suddenly felt something tugging at his heart. “So, our agreement as temporary partners ends here?”

Cylo was silent upon hearing this, but a few seconds later, he nodded his head.

These two charming men felt the same way, namely, that they were reluctant to part ways. They felt that they were a good match and complemented each other. However, they came from different camps, and they had no bond other than their agreement to destroy the algorithm. So, once their mission was complete, they could no longer be together.

Suddenly, Ivo sighed deeply and looked at Cylo beside him. “You can tease me, Cylo. But I'll be honest, you're the best partner I've ever had. Although we only worked together for a short time, I genuinely felt that we were a good match. Thank you so much,” he said sincerely.

Cylo smiled at Ivo, as if he also had to be honest about how he felt. “Hmm, to be honest, I feel the same way. Before, I never got along with any partner, but with you, it feels different. It's like having a friend who carries out dangerous missions together.”

The two sweet men finally gave each other a brotherly hug to release their feelings. They really didn't want to lie about the comfort they felt with each other. However, they also recognized that their work in the underworld was extremely hazardous, so they had to maintain their privacy and anonymity.

“Okay, thank you very much, Cylo.” Ivo took out a device that looked like an earpiece but had been modified beforehand. This device could connect directly to his device with very high communication accuracy.

Ivo gave it to Cylo. “And as a friend, you can contact me if you need help.”

Cylo smiled and accepted the communication device. “Yeah, thank you very much. You can also contact me if you need help.”

The two sweet men said goodbye to each other again, then Ivo got off at the intersection, while Cylo continued his journey using Jeff's car.

“You have to stay alive, Cylo,” Ivo muttered, then he started walking home.

Meanwhile, Cylo, who was in the car, was still watching Ivo from the car window. “Hope we can meet again, Ivo.”

Short but very memorable. Those words describe how Cylo and Ivo met. Although they initially wanted to kill each other, their feelings changed once they learned to understand one another. And from there, a strong feeling formed between them. A feeling of friendship that made them feel close and comfortable.

Moreover, at the motel earlier, they had talked a lot about their lives. Although they didn't say everything, at least it made their relationship feel closer. Cylo and Ivo had truly built a friendship that neither of them had ever expected before. And they hoped to meet again someday.

Back to Cylo, he was still focused on driving the car. "Huh... I have to go home soon. Chelsea seems to be busy because she hasn't contacted me for several days."

Yeah, despite his friendship with Ivo, Cylo just realized that Chelsea hadn't sent him any messages for several days. Usually, his sister always made time to contact him. Cylo even remembered when he had to answer a call from Chelsea while he was in a firefight with the enemy.

So, it was really strange that he hadn't received any messages from his sister. Had something happened to Chelsea?

Screech!

Cylo immediately stopped his car a few meters from his house. His heart was pounding, and suddenly tears welled up in his eyes. He shook his head in disbelief when he saw his house, which had been completely destroyed. His breathing quickened, and his chest felt tight.

No, no, no. This couldn't be true, right? He must have had the wrong address, right? It was impossible that his house, the house he lived in with his sister, was destroyed like this, right? No, this couldn't be true. His house couldn't be destroyed, and his sister couldn't be—no. His sister must still be alive, Chelsea must still be alive.

The sweet man's body trembled, tears still streaming down his face, his chest felt tight, his hands and feet trembled, and his breathing was ragged. He began to sob softly, but he still tried not to believe the reality in front of him. He couldn't accept this.

“No, this can't be happening—” Suddenly, Cylo's attention was drawn to a hand wearing a pink bracelet.

He immediately approached the hand and cried loudly.

There was no mistake; this was his sister's hand because he still remembered the pink bracelet that Chelsea wore. He didn't know where the rest of her body was, but one thing was certain: the person who blew up his house along with his sister was truly cruel. He couldn't accept this.

From behind, a man immediately pointed his gun at Cylo.

He was a member of the Blood mafia who had been ordered by his boss to take revenge for the destruction of the mind control chipset. He looked at Cylo from behind with satisfaction, seeing the hitman destroyed because he and the other members had blown up Cylo’s house and Cylo’s sister, which made him feel completely satisfied.

"We blew up your house and your sister. And now, we just need to kill you because you messed up our deal," said the man, who was still pointing his gun at Cylo from behind.

Several other members of the Blood mafia also emerged from their hiding places. They also took out their weapons, grinning smugly at the sight of the white-haired hitman in despair.

Meanwhile, Cylo just stood silently, hugging his sister's hand. He was still shaken by his sister's death. His zest for life seemed to have disappeared. He felt like a complete failure for not being able to protect the house his parents and only sister had left behind. He truly felt like a failure, and nothing else made him excited to live. So, it would be better if he died too, right?

Bang!
