“Huh... I didn't think we would share the same fate, Ivo. Even though we haven't known each other for long,” Cylo muttered as he looked at Ivo, who was collecting his adoptive father's ashes. “It seems that we are destined to be together... as friends and maybe even brothers.”

Cylo sat quietly in the passenger seat, hugging the urn containing his sister's ashes. He was still waiting for Ivo to finish his business. “I really hope for a lot from this friendship.”

Truly, today was a day he would never forget. He had experienced a tragic event where he lost his family and his home. Then, not long after that, he witnessed someone else experiencing the same thing as him. It made him feel as if he was experiencing consecutive bouts of pain.

But maybe it was his destiny because from that, he and Ivo became good friends, even agreeing to take revenge together. At least, there was something to be gained from this painful event. And revenge on the Blood mafia was his goal after this.

Meanwhile, Ivo walked towards the car carrying the urn containing his adoptive father's ashes. He knew a place that could serve as a temporary shelter, and he also wanted to scatter Holland's ashes in a location that held special significance for him.

“Let's go,” said Ivo after sitting down in the driver's seat.

“Yeah, I'll come with you.” Cylo let Ivo drive the car.

Now, these two sweet men were not as sad as before. They tried to suppress their emotions over the loss of their family. After all, being sad would not solve their problems.

The car began to drive away from the area at a moderate speed.

Of course, with this situation, the conditions had completely changed. The response from the Blood mafia was no joke, so Cylo and Ivo had to take refuge first. Fortunately, they had already made sure that there were no members of the Blood mafia around, so they could leave immediately without fear of being followed.

Even so, neither Cylo nor Ivo had any possessions left that they could use after their homes were destroyed. So, they could only rely on what they had now. This included the clothes they were wearing, some weapons, gadgets, and the car belonging to the leader of the Black Wolf mafia. Other than that, they had nothing else.

“Umm... but where are we actually going, Ivo?” Cylo finally spoke up because he felt strange when Ivo drove the car in the opposite direction towards the mountains.

"I just remembered that I have a small house located in the highlands. It was a gift from Holland on my nineteenth birthday,“ said Ivo as he continued to drive the car. “And because it's located in the forest, I think we can use it as a temporary shelter." 

Cylo just nodded when he heard this. He had nothing else, so he would just follow Ivo's decision for now. “All right, if that's the case. We can take some time to rest there and make plans for revenge.”

“Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for there too.”

After that, there was no more conversation between these two sweet men. They returned to their respective activities. Ivo sped up the car because he wanted to get there quickly, while Cylo was busy looking out the window. They were indeed feeling better, but that was only on the outside, because inside, their feelings were still in turmoil due to the loss of their homes and families.

But what else could they do? No matter how many times they grieved, they would not be able to bring back their deceased families. So, it was useless to do that. They had to take a break to calm themselves down so that later they would be ready to teach the Blood mafia a lesson. 

“Huff...” Cylo sighed while glancing at Ivo from time to time. Previously, Ivo had tried hard to comfort him when he found out that his house had been destroyed and his sister had died, so now it was his turn to comfort Ivo. 

However, Cylo didn't know how. He didn't know how to show concern for a friend.

“Umm... Ivo... I'm sorry... I-I don't know how to calm someone who is grieving,” said Cylo, who finally chose to be honest. “But... let's finish this together. We can rebuild our agreement, but not as temporary partners, but as friends who work together.”

Ivo looked at Cylo and smiled. “It's okay, for a quiet person like you, expressing concern must be difficult. I can understand that.”

Cylo smiled happily and patted Ivo's shoulder gently. "Thank you. But let's finish this together. I believe in you, and you must also believe in me if we are to take revenge on the mafia. We can get through this together."

He didn't know where those words came from, but Cylo was very proud to be able to say them. He had never thought he could show such clear affection to anyone, not even his own sister. But with Ivo, it felt different. He felt more relaxed and free, like a brother he had known for a long time.

Ivo sighed deeply. He never expected this hitman to show such concern. “Yes, I believe in you, too. And I am also sure that the two of us can take revenge on the Blood mafia. We will finish this together.”

The two sweet men exchanged sincere smiles, then gave each other a brotherly hug. They truly trusted each other. It didn't matter that they had only met a short time ago; they already felt comfortable with each other, and this relationship even made them feel better about themselves.

The car continued to speed towards the highlands. Cylo and Ivo could slowly feel the cool, fresh air. The forest scenery on their right and left sides was also visible again. And after some time, they finally entered the mountainous area. 

“The car can't go any further, so we have to walk from here.”

Ivo let Cylo get out of the car first. Then he parked the car behind some thick bushes. He tried his best to make the car as inconspicuous as possible. Although it was a little difficult, he was able to hide it by covering it with leaves.

“This place seems very secluded, doesn't it?” said Cylo as he looked around at the dense forest.

Ivo nodded and walked ahead. "Yes, it is located in the forest. And again, the building was constructed within a cave. So I can guarantee that the place is suitable for us to use as a shelter."

The two handsome men walked side by side into the forest. There were no clear paths here, so Cylo could only follow Ivo from behind. Meanwhile, Ivo continued to walk leisurely, reminiscing about his memories with Holland in this forest area.

About 30 minutes later, after walking, they finally arrived at Ivo's house. The house looked very hidden because only the door was visible from the outside due to the building being integrated with the cave. However, the door was also designed to resemble a rock, which made it even more concealed.

Ivo opened the door to the house after entering the PIN code. “All right, please come in.”

Cylo entered and was immediately captivated by the house's beauty. “Wow... the decor and the place are very comfortable. Are you sure no one lives here?”

“Of course, this is a house that is used as a hideout. Only occasionally do my father and I come here to spend time together.”

Cylo nodded and looked around the house happily. He immediately liked this place because it was very hidden and minimalist, but still comfortable to live in. Truly, his dream house was a house built inside a cave like this.

Ivo also admired the house that he hadn't visited in a long time. His memories of Holland truly felt real here because he and his adoptive father always spent their holidays there. And now, he couldn't remember the last time he had been here because it had been so long since he had been busy with his mission.

After that, the two sweet men sat on the sofa facing each other. 

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the room became gloomy as they remembered what had just happened to them. Their hearts ached again when they remembered that they could no longer see their families.

Ivo bowed his head and cried silently. Since he was little, he didn't know who his biological parents were and why they abandoned him. He only knew that Holland adopted him and taught him all the skills he needed to survive in this harsh world. But now that man was no longer in this world, even though Ivo hadn't had the chance to truly repay Holland. He felt regretful about that.

Cylo, who was sitting across from him, felt the same way. He was very sad because his only sibling was no longer in this world. He and Chelsea had promised to continue searching for information about who had killed their parents. But it seemed that Cylo would have to continue that promise alone, without his sister. He was truly sad because Chelsea was the only family he had left, and now she was gone.

These two sweet men spent their grief in silence. They had experienced a tragedy together, and then they chose to hug each other to strengthen one another.

“Let's settle this together, Ivo. The Blood Mafia must be held responsible for the death of our families.”

“Yes, let's settle this grudge together. They must feel what we are feeling right now.”

The two sweet men hugged each other tightly and then put their foreheads together, as if making a promise they had to keep.

After that, Ivo suddenly brought a container filled with Holland's ashes, and then invited Cylo, who also took a container filled with Chelsea's ashes, outside the house. They walked side by side to the river, not far from here. 

When they arrived, they immediately scattered their family's ashes into the river and let them be carried away by the current. Cylo and Ivo stared at it while offering their best prayers for Chelsea and Holland.

“Holland, thank you so much for being a good parent to me. And after this, I will try to be more independent so that I can avenge your death on the Blood mafia.”

“Chelsea, I hope you can find the best place up there. I will try to be even stronger so that I can find out who killed our parents, and I also want to avenge your death on the Blood mafia.”
