P8: Finally, a new character! I rewrote him while I was halfway through drawing this chapter, then redrew a bunch of pages to reflect the change. That’s why some of the earlier pages have more recent timestamps.
P9: It’s brutally difficult to climb up the power ranks, the bar is constantly increasing & it's easy to lose ranks. Yes, this is social commentary, I’ll leave it at that.
This isn’t the kind of story where everyone becomes an A-ranker. Most characters are stuck with limited powers and have to find other ways to compensate. The ones with universally-recognized sobriquets (God of Poison, Jade Scorpion) are the best of the best…or so they say ;).

P10: I finally get to name-drop Yumi and Rai in my comic, 5+ years after they first appeared in my gallery. They were among the first characters I published~
If only Shijian knew how often his name is brought up in these "who is stronger" conversations lol. (He doesn't care).
