EPISODE 6 — THE BOY WITH TWO SIDES

Night settled over Earth like a heavy blanket.

City lights shimmered below, but the rooftop above them was dead silent.

A lone boy sat on the edge — the same child Spirit had searched for over thirteen years.

The angels still didn’t know his name.

The world would one day call him Natmaki.

The air shifted.

A cold breeze swept past him as his eyes narrowed.

Natmaki:

“…It’s starting again.”

A faint glow pulsed inside his irises — one eye darker, one slightly lighter.

Two energies fought inside him.

Not mixing.

Not agreeing.

Just tearing him in opposite directions.

He clutched his chest as the surge stabbed through him.

Natmaki:

“Why… does it feel like I’m coming apart?”

The rooftop cracked beneath his feet — not enough to break, just enough to warn.

Something inside him was waking.

Something not angel.

Not demon.

Both.

IN THE SKY — KEN & MASO

Ken leaned out of the shimmering portal, staring down at the city.

Ken:

“Spirit’s kid has to be down here somewhere. My luck’s been dragging us this way nonstop.”

Maso:

“Good. But stay alert. ZeroQ isn’t done with you.”

Ken flicked his coin.

Heads.

He smirked.

Ken:

“Yeah. We’re close.”

ZEROQ’S SIDE — THE HUNT BEGINS

ZeroQ stood atop a cathedral, her cloak snapping in the cold wind.

Val and Madrok waited behind her, silent.

ZeroQ:

“You feel that? That ripple in the air?”

Val:

“It’s unstable. Doesn’t read angel or demon.”

Madrok’s grin sharpened.

Madrok:

“Then it’s the brat. Spirit’s little experiment.”

ZeroQ:

“Exactly. And we find him first.”

Her eyes narrowed — cold, calculated.

ZeroQ:

“Before Spirit. Before Ken. Before anyone.”

Dark energy crawled under her feet.

She vanished, teleporting off the cathedral as Val and Madrok followed.

BACK TO NATMAKI

His breathing turned rough.

He pressed his palms into the rooftop, trying to steady himself.

Natmaki:

“Not again… please, not again…”

The left half of his aura flickered white.

The right half flickered black.

The rooftop cracked wider.

He was losing control.

A sudden shockwave ripped out of him, shattering tiles and blasting dust into the air.

Natmaki gasped, stumbling back, trembling.

Natmaki:

“…What’s… happening to me?”

He didn’t know.

He didn’t know two armies were racing toward him.

He didn’t know Spirit — the father he’d never met — was minutes away.

He didn’t know his awakening would tilt the war between angels and demons.

But he would.
