Chapter 6: The Forgotten Student
Pierce and his parents walked home in rainy weather. Their shoes were covered in mud and their clothes were completely wet. Pierce looked down at the road. He was extremely mad.
"Don’t feel bad, Pierce. This isn’t your fault. Seth made a stupid decision," Gerald tried to comfort Pierce.
"I know. It’s just annoying that reaching my dream of becoming a mage will become much more difficult," Pierce answered.
"I believe that we can get you back in. The other teachers will understand this situation," Lumi attempted to cheer up Pierce.
"Seth will not change his mind! People have always called me optimistic and naive, but I mean it this time. I have heard that tons of students have been put to the side for the past 2 years. That isn’t normal from my point of view. Seth’s must be up to something. Almost like he is afraid we will become better than him. He sees us as a threat!" Pierce gave a serious speech.
"Why would he do that? He can’t be that cold-hearted. He has been the principal of the mage school for many, many years," Gerald tried to be realistic.
"I don’t even think that everyone knows this guy’s past. Regardless, starting from tomorrow I will study magic by myself. I’ll take a small trip outside Miracle to maybe find a nature primordial crystal," Pierce said.
"Alright then, but I will ask your sister to come with you. I don’t want you to get in danger. I will try to talk with the school council to possibly get you back in," Gerald stated.
The next day Pierce left on his trip to The Wine Woods along with her sister, Selene. They were walking along a dirt path. The Wine Woods was a place where many children play and swing using the wines.
"Didn’t you have work today at the castle," Pierce asked Selene.
"I talked with the king, and he understood the assignment. He questioned why Seth kicked you out. He hasn’t apparently been the same person since he lost the election to become the king," Selene answered.
"Isn’t being in your armor kind of annoying?" Pierce asked.
"Well, I have gotten used to it. It isn’t......," Selene tried to answer, but it was interrupted by loud yelling from nearby.
