Alexander finds himself amongst darker grasses of Aphrodite. It's as if the tint of the fungi became grey and the sky, dull. An ethereal shadow emitting a bit of vivid color, a feint but reckognizable purple, appears trailing beyond the ledge and into the caves they just came from. An eerie feeling filled the void as it lurched ever closer to him.
He got out of his cushiony, soft cocoon of a blanket that Akhmin gifted him and walked steadily into the dark. This time... it didn't feel like a dream... and his body was solid. He checked. As he made his way deeper, he felt the wall, sliding it across a circuit-like indent. A flash of bright pink struck his eyesight. As it did, he jumped and his hand retreated. "What was... that?" he thought. He paused in his sentence and something echoed in the pitch black. There was a bit of moonlight farther off from opened gaps in the side of the tunnel. He heard.. steps. Wet splashes in the distance and some small murmur of a person.
As he got closer, he caught a glimpse of a figure, the one he saw before. His heart warmed in anxiety as he clutched his chest and hid. The figure stopped in a side profile and slowly turned its head toward his way, long, flowing hair fluttering from the funneled winds and staggering, curled horns with divets of purple mid-way glowed in the dark. As did her eyes. When Alex took another peek, she was gone.
Picking himself up off the ground, he felt a presence behind him. As he turned around rapidly, time seemed to slow as she cuffed her hand on his mouth, his eyes widened. Before his heart started beating faster, she slid it from his mouth to his cheekbone and spoke to him "Look at you..." She smiles. "It's been ages... I've missed you... Alexander Leone Lazarine..."
Quickly, Alex woke from his dream. "A dream...? It was a dream??" he froze in thought. Astonished, his mind raced. He put his hand on his forehead, breathing heavily as if from a fever. "How... how did she know me?" He thought of the name given to him. His heart raced further. "Alexander... Leone... Lazarine..." Suddenly some memories started flooding his mind. He tried to stop it but couldn't. As he lay on the ground, his body starts seizing and Akhmin gets up, almost tripping, getting to him. He felt a presence just now... what has it done to him?
