Silke and Laura are the best. It’s an absolute pleasure to be their friends. Workaways are a bit exploitative most of the time, and the one we met at absolutely was BUT I do think they are worth it for the bonds you make along the way. We drove all over the Balkans together after 2 weeks in Greece and a second meet up at a rainbow gathering in Albania.
You never know when you will find lifelong friends.

I quit my job. It wasn’t terrible but it definitely wasn’t good. So what should an aspiring comic artist do? Why, cycle to Rome of course!
I shall spite my old employers by going on a journey of a lifetime they could only dream of!!
This autobiographical comic follows Julie, an optimistic and experienced adventurer travel forth into the unknown, over the alps, and finally to Rome. Follow as she finds herself while getting lost, through the highs of the alps and the lows of being accosted by mysterious animals.
