Xie Cheng was sitting in a dark room filled with snake cages. He was sitting on a black couch watching a snake slither up his arm. The one around his neck started to choke him which made him smirk and gently touch it. His voice was low and calm as he talked to the snake.
“Be a good girl, Xiao Ra.”
When Xie Cheng removed his hand the snake loosened her grip. Then he heard the snake on his arm flick its tongue at him. With the same calm and low voice he looked at the one slithering on his arm.
“Jealous, Ren Ma?”
The snake soon slithered back down his arm after being acknowledged. Soon the one on his leg started slithering up to be acknowledged as well. His smirk didn’t fade as he watched the snake slither up.
“I haven’t forgotten about you Sakura.”
The sane then slithered back down to its placement on Xie Cheng’s leg. Then his smile soon faded as he lit a cigarette when his phone rang. His cat-like eyes stared at the screen. He soon took out the cigarette and blew out the smoke before he answered the phone. His voice was deep, cold, and unbothered.
“Speak.”
“Xie Cheng, where are you right now?”
“I am at home.”
“I got a new job for you, maybe you will actually keep it this time.”
“Father, I don’t want any of your damn jobs.”
“You may be my son but you need to do more than sit there and party. My son has already become such an animal even word of your private life started to go public.”
“You will take this job and keep it Xie Cheng. I will not take no for an answer.”
With that little outburst from his father Xie Cheng’s dad hung up the phone. When Xie Cheng looked at the message for the job that his father set up for him, he took one last hit of his cigarette and put it out.
