We are closing in on 2026,
And in the spirit of annual recaps,
Here are some of my thoughts on the year that was!
(I'll try to avoid major spoilers.)

Q. Best moment of 2025?
A. The climax of The Truth Tellers Chapter 1 (episodes 21 and 22).
It was a sequence of about 10 pages that I had in my mind for a long time,
And I'm glad I could deliver pretty much what I envisioned.

Q. Most surprising moment of 2025?
A. There were so many.
In January 2025, I had no plans beyond The Truth Tellers Chapter 1,
So nearly every single development after that was a surprise.
But the single most shocking development is how much I had to say about Apollo.

For a long time, I thought that Seungho and Minho
Would be the only noteworthy members of that group
And that I would keep the other members as flat caricatures.
That didn't end up happening, and now everyone has a rich inner life.
It's messy but exciting!

Q: Something that disappointed you in 2025?
A. I thought we'd be 10 episodes ahead at this point LOL...

Q. Your most important lesson of 2025 from drawing and writing?
A. I have a few! Please take them for your own!
1 - Don't go back to pages that you're not satisfied with unless there's a glaring issue.
Just keep moving forward.
2 - Draw the most important pages in an update first. It makes a visible difference.
3 - Plan, even if plans are futile. The more you plan the better off you'll be. At the same time, expect tweaks and changes.

Q. Your favourite character in 2025, your MVP?
A. This is very unfair because I know what happens to each character,
But I feel the most when I write about Seungho/Sunny.
He is super emotive and makes me remember my own hurts in love and life.
And, he's definitely an MVP at keeping me amused.
Seungho! Do your best!
