Flashback
He entered the house covered in blood. I noticed it was the middle of the night as I closed the door. He took off his shirt to reveal his wounds. He opened a medical kit and began playing doctor on himself. I watched silently on the couch.

"Who did this?" I asked as he took off his mask. His face was covered in blood and his jaw was slightly swollen. His long wild hair covered most of his face.

"Our greatest enemies are old friends, boy." He said silently as he continued to stich himself up. I sighed unhappily as got up and walked away.

Present

I opened my eyes from my memory of something that occurred in my past. After a while I realized my head was resting on Jade's shoulder. I quickly sat up to see her staring at me strangely. I looked away feeling extremely uncomfortable.

I looked around to see we were at the docks. I got up as Jack emerged from the cockpit. I looked around to see that we were now at Darko city. Jack approached me slowly as he glanced down at the ground.

"Let's get them out of here." He said as we watched everyone climb out of the ship.

As we made sure everyone was alright we started walking. A hovering vehicle stopped in front of us. The doors opened and two men stepped out of either side. Gizmo and Agent Hex approached us with their weapons raised. Gizmo stopped when he saw me.

"No way.... Not you." He said as he shook his head and teleported in front of me.

He pulled off his strange looking goggles and stared at me angrily. I shrugged as I stared long and hard at him.

"Well...now all our cards are on the table." I said as he pushed me harshly.

I sighed angrily as I glanced at everyone who all seemed afraid. I had to get them out of here before Gizmo took them in.

"Thanks for helping Jack. Now we take things from here."

Gizmo did a strange motion with his hand but I grabbed his arm. He turned and stared at me angrily as he pulled away.

"You are not taking them...Not while I'm alive."

I lunged at him and snatched the taser off of his belt. Then I shoved in his neck. He collapsed to the ground as his arms moved wildly for about ten seconds. Shadow charged toward me with his weapon raised but Jack intervened.

"You know this is wrong." Jack glared at Agent Hex.

She sighed unhappily. Then lowered her weapon and nodded at me.

"Get them out of here." She ordered as I signaled everyone to follow Jack. I looked back to see Agent Hex standing over Gizmo.

If she could change his mind about capturing innocent superhumans maybe her other comrades could. Although, that merely was a hope for a better tomorrow.

We walked through the alleys and hid in the shadows until we saw the warehouse across the street. Jack signaled for everyone to wait with me until he made sure everything was safe. After a while I saw him open the door and raise his hand to come over. I sent everyone over in groups of two until Jade and I were the last two. We jogged over and stopped at the door.

"I will be back soon is there any spare clothes inside?" I asked causing him to nod his head.

I stepped inside to see that he had tables with food and clothing. I watched as everyone sorted through the things to see what they wanted. I sighed as I stopped at a table and grabbed a hoodie and some maneuverable jeans.

I changed my clothes in another room before I prepared to leave. I had to get to the hotel and make sure my things were still there. I walked for hours until I found myself in downtown Darko city. I looked over at Giz-tech as I entered the hotel. The clerk stared at me with a smile on his face.

"Almost thought you wouldn't be back." I nodded as he handed me an extra keycard for I had lost mine.

I ran upstairs silently and entered my room. I immediately stuffed all of my things in my bag. I slung my bag over my shoulder and exited the room. I tossed some money at the clerk as I headed out and started back on the path to the warehouse. It was extremely late when I got back to the warehouse.

I silently entered the warehouse and took my time getting downstairs. Everyone sat silently eating food that looked warm. I saw a woman with brown hair and natural tan skin. She was standing beside Jack but I had no idea who she was. Jack finally noticed that I had returned and nodded at me.

"This is Arianna Blast....She is the daughter of the S.T.A.R task force commander. She is willing to help these people."

I nodded as she stuck her hand out to greet me. I slowly took hold of her hand and shook it. I stepped away and placed my bag down. I heard a strange siren causing Arianna to stare at me in shock.

"I have to go." She said as she darted up the stairs and out of the building.

Jack started grabbing everyone and pointing toward an escape door in the floor.

"I'll hold them off."

"Come back...please." I heard Kira say.

I turned my attention to the door where the men in black and silver camo suits entered. Gizmo and a woman with light brown skin and red, flowing hair that hung over her face, followed close behind him. They all had their guns aimed at me. Gizmo had a smile on his face as he came close to me.

"There's no way out of this." He said as the men closed in on me.

I shrugged as I grabbed a rifle from one of their hands and hit him with it. I charged at another who began firing but I easily side stepped the bullets. I slammed her into the wall and threw her gun hitting a trooper in the head. I noticed Gizmo watching with a shocked look on his face as I jumped off of a table and kicked two of the troopers down.

I slammed their heads on the ground which I knew would give them both concussions. As I continued to fight my assailants, I was tackled to the ground. I rolled over to see Gizmo who aimed his blaster at me. He fired it and I was sent flying across the floor. I coughed in pain as I got to my feet. The red head aimed her gun at me prepared to fire.

"Don't make this more difficult than it already is." She said as a man in a full black uniform entered the room.

He looked to be in his early fifties or late forties. He was smoking an extremely large cigar as more troopers followed behind him.

"Commander Blast....what are you doing here sir?" Gizmo asked as he saluted the man. Commander blast nodded as he took a puff of his cigar.

"You said there was a group of superhumans. You also said that Jack contacted Agent Hex for help. Where is Jack now?" Commander Blast asked.

They all started to look around unsure of where he was. Jack was the reason they were here and now I had to deal with it.

"This man knows....so we are going to take him in for questioning." Gizmo declared.

He inched toward me but I fired a fire spark that caused the room to be filled with smoke. I took out as many of the troopers as possible as I made my way to the stairs. I sprinted up the steps as I heard everyone coughing.

I burst through the door and toppled over Agent Hex. I picked her up and grabbed her and pulled her away from her team. I looked around hoping I'd see Sean but he was nowhere to be found.

"Let her go." The red head said angrily as she stepped forward. I shook my head as I tightened my grip on Agent Hex's hand so she couldn't use her powers. I put my lips to her ear as I stared long and hard at Agent Hex.

"I'm sorry I'm doing this but I can't let you detain those people. I've seen what they go through on Reaper Island. It's not right and they don't need to be put through that again."

Agent Hex was breathing heavy from nervousness as she nodding understandingly. I pulled her away from the group as Gizmo emerged from the building he started walking toward me but she shook her head. He stopped and nodded as we disappeared into the darkness. I let her go and she quickly turned to me and prepared to use her powers.

"You didn't have to be so rough with me!" She snapped

"I'm sorry... but I can't have your soldiers arresting those innocent people."

She nodded as she slowly approached me. She looked down at the ground long and hard.

"I'm only helping because....There's something they don't know about me and I wouldn't want to go through what they did."

I nodded as she took my hand and placed something in it. I opened my hand to see an amethyst stone. I looked her confused as she shrugged.

"What is this for?" I asked as she started to walk away.

I continued to glance at the stone wondering how strange it was. My birthstone was amethyst why did she give it to me.

"It's for good luck. I think you're going to need it for the future." She said as she winked and turned to run.

I sighed as I turned and ran the other direction. I had to find the others and then maybe stop Dr. Lee. If the task force weren't stopping him someone had to. I continued to run until I saw someone. The figure sat near a dumpster. As I got closer I could see that his clothing was ripped and looked as if he just escaped a fire. When I finally stood before him that's when I saw it....the broken bow.

"Sean?" I asked as I knelt down next to him.

I could see he had been shot in the shoulder He sighed unhappily as he stared his bow.

"Jasper...I'm sorry." He muttered.

He took of his goggles and mask. I frowned unsure of what he was referring to.

"What are you talking about?"

He realized I had heard him as he continue to look at the ground. His hair covered most of his face.

"He was my friend, a little brother to me. I was on an assignment to gather information on this new lab that was being built. I found out Drex-corps was transporting materials there. Alien DNA and body parts.... Eight people were test subjects in the facility. He was one of them but I couldn't get to him. There are other scientists that work with Dr. Lee and whoever was in charge is one. Somehow an accident happened that caused everyone to evacuate. I couldn't get to Jasper in time."

Sean sounded heartbroken as if he lost someone dear to him. It was clear that whoever Jasper was, meant a lot Sean.

"I have to get you out of here." I said as I looked around as I lifted him up and put his arm around my shoulder.

"What were they doing with alien DNA, Sean?"

He glanced over at me as he touched one of his wounds. He grunted in pain as he started to sit up but laid back down.

"Project... E.T super soldiers or something like that." He replied.

I glanced at the ground. What was going on and why was there more experiments being done? Was my DNA not enough for a super serum? Now he was going extraterrestrial? None of this made sense at all.

"Somebody has to stop this madness." I muttered silently.

"His sisters are going to hate me when they find out he's dead."

I sighed wondering why he was rambling on so much about this. He really was afraid they'd hate him.

"I need to know where Dr. Lee will go next or how to pick up on his trail." I said as I stared at the ground. I heard Sean sigh unhappily as he shifted in his hospital bed.

"He makes trips to Drex-corps. I know that much but we never get to him in time. The other people that he worked with might cause problems in the future." He said as I nodded while standing to my feet. I had to find Dr. Lee and take him down.

"Alright...also do you know where Jack would go in order to hide? If so please tell me no one else knows." He nodded as he sat up slightly in order to answer.

"None of the Coverts know this but I have this place called the Bunker that's located in the forest, we can go there. I have some medical stuff too."

I nodded my head as we continued walking.
Although I couldn't stop wondering how I could stop someone with such power. It would be a long walk outside the city. Although, I had to hurry to make sure Sean didn't bleed out from his wounds.
