I sighed deeply as I entered the Bunker with Sean. I looked around making sure no one was around as I closed the door. As I turned my attention away from the door. I noticed a small TV across from me. There were about six rooms to my right which I assumed to be for sleeping.

On another side of the room I saw a room that I could see things you'd see in a kitchen. I also saw another room further away from me causing me to get closer. By the looks of it I took the assumption it was a room for training. Everyone was staring at me and Sean.

Kira rushed over and grabbed Sean's arm. Jack gestured to her and then pointed down to a hall.

"Take him to the med bay.

"Why did you contact that woman, Agent Hex

"Jack looked away nervously. I could tell he was upset with himself as he turned away from me.

"I thought I could trust her..." Jack trailed off as he walked away and entered the kitchen.

I decided not to continue pressing the matter. I hated knowing that things were getting worse out in the city. I entered a room that had a bed and dresser inside. Other than that the room was empty. I closed the door but then I heard a knock on the door. I sighed as I opened it to see Jade holding my belongings.

"I figured it would be good to not leave it there so the task force couldn't use anything to track you. "

I nodded as I grabbed my things and tossed them on the floor. I glanced at her silver eyes and quickly looked away. I nodded as I slowly shut the door causing her to back away. I sighed as I changed into a pair of comfortable jeans and shoes. I picked up some of my gear to be prepared for any dangerous situations.
I planned to visit Drex-corps hoping to find some new information. I stepped out of the room I noticed everyone seemed to be calm and at ease. Maybe they believed no one would find them here. I

hope nobody wouldn't but I don't think it's a good idea to get too comfortable. Jade watched as I headed toward the stairs to leave the Bunker. Kira approached me as I started up the stairs.

"I am coming with you. Let's go." She said as she pushed me forward.

I sighed as I continued up the steps until I got to the door. I unlocked the hatch and threw the hatch open and climbed out. I stuck my hand down to help her out as I closed the hatch behind her. I brushed some dirt of my pants as I followed her toward the direction of the city.
"Where I'm going will be dangerous. You'd only get in the way."

"That's fine but after there is somewhere I'd like for us to go."

"Where is that exactly?"

"Finish your little crusade then I'll tell you." Kira replied.

I stared at her suspiciously for a second. Then I turned and started walking. Was it bad I didn't trust this woman? Maybe I had a reason or it was just a deep rooted insecurity  of mines.

After a while we finally made it to Drex-corps. I went around the back and found a secret entrance guarded by four Drex-corps guards. I looked over at Kira who knelt next to me. She looked anxious.

"Wait here...if anyone spots you, then run."

She nodded as I looked away. I returned my focus on the guards ahead of me. I took a deep breath and lunged forward. It didn't take long for me to take them out and get a key card from one of them. I took one of the guard's uniform and put it on. I stuffed my clothes into a backpack one was wearing and threw it over my shoulder.

I stepped inside to see a long hallway filled with scientists and test subjects. I took my time walking looking around trying to understand what I was seeing. How was this place not shut down yet? I saw group of guards standing around talking. I slowed my pace in order to hear what they were saying.

"That kid Dr. Lee plans to release on the city is going to be a whole lot of trouble for us." A taller guard said as I passed by them.

A superhuman that could cause catastrophic destruction to a big part of the city? That didn't sound good and I need to find Dr. Lee soon before it's too late.  Where was he now and how could I get to him?

As I continued to walk the halls an intercom turned on. It was Dr. Lee which meant he was here somewhere. I saw a guard standing alone cleaning outside of a janitor closet. I thought it was strange to be wearing a mask while cleaning. I looked around to see no one was around and there wasn't any cameras in this direction. I sighed as I grabbed him and threw him into the closet. I took his gun and punched him in the chest.

"Where's Dr. Lee?" I asked with a snarl.

He heaved in pain as I kicked him in the leg. He winced in pain as he collapsed to the floor.

"He's leaving and won't be seen until he goes through with his plan." The guard said as he grabbed his leg. I nodded as I kicked him in the face.

"Where is the superhuman?"

The man sighed as he looked away. I kicked him in the leg again causing him to cry in pain. I pulled off his mask and covered his mouth. I felt his breath in the glove I was wearing as he slowly began to calm down.

"He's being deported... that's all I know."

I nodded as I kicked him again in the face but harder. He fell to the floor unconscious as I stepped out of the closet and closed the door. I looked around now I saw people roaming the halls. I could feel eyes watching me which meant I had to get out soon. I roamed the halls a little longer to see the man with pale skin and yellow eyes.

I believe he is Dr. Lee's son which meant he knew where his father was. I noticed that there was a file room so I slowly snuck in. I needed more information on what was going on. I realized there was no one around for the moment so I had to hurry.

I rummaged around drawers skimming through files until I found a list of people that helped with the research. The scientists and the rich people that supported Dr. Lee's first project. The scientists also had their own research but it was clear they all collaborated. The list started with scientist then the supporters...

Jaclyn Johnston- Drex-corps scientist
Sade Randle- Genetics scientists
Cassandra Collier- politician/ research scientist
Melanie Mae- Drex-corps Cybernetics scientist
Beth Lewis- Research scientist
Kurt Nelson- Genetics scientist
Johnathan Xile – Research scientist
Jabari Calhoun- Business Consultant
Alistair Knight- Businessman/ entrepreneur
Jax Jones- entrepreneur/ owner of Jax industries
Michael and Melissa Stoker- entrepreneurs/ owners of Stoker Enterprises
Naoto Matsuda- Business entrepreneur
Wilson Valentine- entrepreneur/ owner of Giz-tech

I stared at the name Xile for an extremely long time. This had to be my father. Now I understood why I kept having that strange memory of Dr. Lee. He really did know my father. Then I began to stare at Valentine even longer.

How could Mr. Valentine have funded this? How could he? He despised superhumans or was that all just for show? Now he was dead and I couldn't ask why he would do such a thing. The door to the room opened and a woman stepped inside.

She wore classes and had long black hair in a ponytail. She stared at me nervously as she placed her papers on a desk near the door. I stuffed the paper in my pocket as she stared at me confused.

"You are not supposed to be in here." She said as she walked over and snatched the papers I was holding.

"What's your name?" I asked.

I stepped in between the door and her. She stared at me confused as I came closer to her. She became nervous the closer I got to her.

" Dr. Johnston. Now get out of here before I report you." She said in a threatening tone.

I leaned in closer to her causing her to stumble back in a chair. "How could you be willing to support an experiment that drastically change people's lives and also do it against their free will? Also, what experiments were you involved in?"

She seemed as if she was ashamed of what she had done. "Dr. Lee's experiment was supposed to cure disease and help with healing things that normally couldn't be healed. Things changed when Dr. Lee came across a child whose DNA showed these superhuman traits. He started the kidnappings when we all went our separate ways. " She said as she glanced up at me. I nodded as I backed away slowly.

"People's live have been ruined by forcing these experiments onto them. What was your experiment?" I asked as I started toward the door. She became nervous as I walked over to her and grabbed her.

"It doesn't matter it was all destroyed." She trailed off.

I paused, fearing that she was behind the experiment Sean had told me about. I heard the alarm go off and everyone began running in panic. I grunted as exited the office and moved down the hallway with extreme urgency. She had reported it so I had to leave as fast as possible. As I headed down the hall a large number of guards were marching in my direction.

They didn't aim their guns at me so I kept my head down and kept going. It was when they got closer to me when they raised their rifles. I raised my hands in surrender after dropping the gun. One approached me with his weapon aimed at me. I quickly grabbed it and kicked him in the chest. He stumbled backward as I sprinted down the hall. Bullets hit everything around me as I ran. I had to escape and get to Kira. I couldn't afford to be captured by them for I would end up in Dr. Lee's hands once again.

I turned down a hallway to see a scientist walking with a handful of files. As I ran past her I smacked the paperwork out of her hand. All the paperwork flew about everywhere slowing down the guards. I pushed a door open which led into a stairwell. I leaped down the steps to get to the first floor. I opened the doors and sprinted across the hall until I was outside again.
*
Making my way back to Kira took some time but I found her in the same place. When she saw me she started to run. It was then I realized I still had on the Drex-corps uniform. I raised my hands and the ripped off the mask.

She froze staring at me in disbelief. Then she shook her head angrily. I quickly took off some of the gear that the guards wore leaving me wearing a black shirt and their tactical pants. It would draw some attention but if I kept my head down I'd be fine. At least that's what I hope for.

"Why are you wearing that?"

"If I didn't then I wouldn't have made it out."

After I said that I heard a loud alarm. I realized they were finally springing into action. The longer we stayed the higher the chance of being discovered grew. I grabbed Kira and pulled her along.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"There is supposed to be a meeting for superhumans. I plan to go there and hopefully find what I can on Dr. Lee's current location and his possible next move."

I nodded slowly as I let her take the lead. Kira was fairly short standing at about roughly five foot three. I jogged close behind as she trotted into another direction of the city. I couldn't help but wonder how she knew something was going on but I figured it be best to just see where the trail took us.

The sound of cars and people flooded my ears which was beginning to become an annoyance. My heightened hearing and sense of smell always seemed to kick in at the most inappropriate times. As I looked around I hadn't realized Kira had disappeared.

I grunted angrily when I realized she was no longer in sight. I shrugged as I continued down the busy side walk. I had no idea what I was looking for I just knew to continue investigating things so I decided to go to the library.

I needed to know some place Dr. Lee went to over the years and before he turned himself into what he is today. I walked aimlessly down the street for a few minutes glancing at different things to kill time. A silver car appeared next to me and the window rolled down.

It was Gizmo... he signaled for me to get in the passenger seat. I brushed my nose with my finger as I looked around. I didn't want to have to deal with him at the moment but I figured he wouldn't leave me alone. He became an obsessive person sometimes and had a hard time of letting certain things go. I opened the door and got in but paused briefly before I closed the door.

"Dude, I don't like all these problems you are causing in my city." Gizmo said sternly as I slowly closed the door.

I pointed in the direction of the library causing him to take a right turn at the light.

"I'm looking for answers about myself and Dr. Lee is my only lead. You should be trying to stop him. By the way do the people of Darko city know that the richest man alive is a superhuman and works for the task force?"

Gizmo grunted angrily as he tightened his grip on the steering wheel. He looked out the window for a moment before I heard him speak.

"The people of this city don't need to know anything and the task force have been trying to catch him for years. I am a part of a government force that have thousands of trained individuals prepared to take on Dr. Lee. You John... you're nobody." Gizmo said with a serious tone until I signaled for him to take a left.

The library was down this street and once I got there I planned to leave this conversation immediately. We road in silence for a moment as we went through a light that started to turn yellow. I sighed deeply as I dug in my pocket briefly and withdrew the paper I had grabbed earlier.

"Think you will be needing this." I said.

I slapped the file on his chest and climbed out of the seat. I slammed the door to his car as I marched up the steps to the library. I entered the building and asked the clerk where I could find old newspapers. I searched all over the aisle but I realized there were things missing. I wouldn't be able to get any clues from here so I had to leave.  As I returned to the sidewalk where I had left Gizmo I sighed deeply as I looked both ways.
