P12: Yup…this is the rest of Aisling’s backstory. Xinyi was right about her originally being a Collector.
& This is a slightly modified version of the outfit I designed for her in 2020 xD.
P13: Finally, we have another Getter! Well, since Corneille, Firinne, and Shilu are all Getters…they’re technically over-represented right now.
P14: I finally dropped the series title xD. There’s more to it beyond the real life computing reference and the literal, in-multiverse meaning. The less obvious meanings will be revealed later.
P15: Considering OOM's secondary genre is horror (used to be sci-fi, but that's not really happening until we get to Process)...you know where this is going.
We got a name drop! I wonder what "out of memory" could mean, tho. It might not just be the obvious thing and it is important enough to name the comic after it. 🤔
I wonder what types of horror there are in this comic. Ngl, I was surprised when I read that this is also a horror story. We had a few nods into that direction with specific imagery, but nothing that would justify it being among the main genres. I'm curious as to where this might lead. 👀
Out of Memory follows Zhen Xinyi (真 心意), a pacifistic warrior with reality-warping powers. As an Imperial Prince of the highly-respected Kurosawa Royal family, Xinyi, who is publicly known as Kurosawa Makoto (黒澤 誠), must balance his duties to the Realm of Os and his perilous quest to find the truth about his family.
His acquaintances, whom both aid and hinder his search, include Aisling, a reforming thief who aspires to become a Collector, Yao, a mysterious prince from a rival Royal Family, and Gyoku, an influential politician who suspects him of ill intent.
