It had been two weeks since Isadora first entered Castle Garcia as the Marquess` guest. At the moment she was being assisted by the maid Sofia with getting dressed in one of her new gowns. She glanced at the dutiful maid, Isadora had seen her face once before, in a small portrait kept by Duchess Alicia. It was a strange feeling, being attended to by someone who would be her grandmother.

The once Queen Monica, before that Princess Consort Sofia, was now once more living a new life, even further back in time. She had been quite surprised seeing a younger Marquess Garcia, to think this is where she ended up after her second time travel. By the way things were unfolding, she was now playing the part of Isadora, the woman who would eventually marry Rodrigo, becoming Marchioness Garcia, and give birth to the detestable Lady Ana. Fortunately Alicia, who at this time was yet to be born, was adopted into the family, so no lopped parentage would be taking place. Marchioness Isadora Garcia and Marquess Rodrigo Garcia were not Sofia Oliveira`s grandparents by blood. For a moment the time traveler had been worried when she realised she was Isadora, but Alicia`s true parentage had been a relief. 

Maid Sofia and Sir Bruno, the birth parents of the Time Traveler`s mother, currently were barely entering the flirting phase of their courtship. From what she had been observing of her maid and guard, they were infatuated with each other, but quite awkward and craven. So, the Time Traveler, who very much would like her mother to be conceived, decided to watch over the two of them and make sure love would blossom. 

After finishing getting ready, the now Isadora was on her way to a picnic by the lake where she would be meeting Marquess Rodrigo. Sofia and Bruno, as her maid and guard, were naturally following. When the trio reached their destination, Isadora could see Rodrigo`s back, he was standing by the picnic blanket where everything was set for their meal. 

Isadora turned to her entourage and instructed the two, “go take a walk together. I want to have some privacy with the Marquess.” They seemed flustered at the prospect of being alone together, but obeyed her orders. Sir Bruno, red faced, offered his arm to maid Sofia. She, who would not take her gaze from the ground, accepted his arm with trembling hands. Isadora, who found them both quite adorable, watched her grandparents take their leave for a moment before she turned and joined Marquess Rodrigo.

“Hello.” Said Isadora approaching.

“Hi Isadora.” greeted the Marquess with a smile on his face, his blond wavy hair fluttering in the wind. Rodrigo was the same height as Isadora. He was a chubby man, but had not yet reached the weight of the older Rodrigo, the one Isadora met while she was impersonating Monica.

The two sat on the picnic blanket. While Isadora took one of the sandwiches, Rodrigo served her some apple cider. As they ate and enjoyed their leisure time, Isadora couldn't help but notice the infatuated glances Rodrigo stole of her, it was quite endearing. This was the Time Traveler`s first time finding one of her suitors cute. When she was Princess Consort Sofia she despised Prince Grabiel. As Monica she was apathetic towards Rafael. And, her relationship with Tiago, before turning into hate, had been born from his sick obsession with the real Monica and the Time Traveler's desire to rebel and make a choice for herself, not affected by the political aspirations of a guardian.

Isadora watched Rodrigo, the man she once thought as a distant grandfather, experiencing love, she felt calm and lazy. When she descended from that cliff towards the ground, she was desperate to find her daughter. Now that she was here all she could do was be patient and wait for Monica to be born. If there were no mysteries to her birth and she was truly the current Duke and Duchess Oliveira`s daughter it would mean Monica and baby Alice were different people. But, if a baby girl appeared out of nowhere and for some reason was added to the family, the Time Traveler was certain she would be her daughter. 

To make sure of the truth, the Time Traveler needed to get close enough to the Oliveira family to be in the know of their secrets by the time of Miguel`s birth since he was allegedly Monica`s twin. The Isadora Garcia she knew of was Nicolas Oliveira`s older sister, but at the moment Nicolas was an only child. So, the Time Traveler, who was living as a Isadora who was the current target of Marquess Rodrigo infatuations, supposed she was destined to somehow for some reason be added to House Oliveira as the current Duke`s older sister. 

It made sense for Isadora, who was of uncertain origins, to strive to be added to a noble family. It would be something necessary for her to marry the Marquess. The question was, why House Olivera and how? She could guess the Duke and the Marquess would enter some kind of agreement. So, The Time traveler`s only way to achieve her goal of forming a connection with the Oliveiras to permit her to have knowledge of any secrets involving Monica, was to first become Marquess Rodrigo`s romantic partner. He was one of the few noblemen who had the power to enter into such a deal with the Oliveiras. Fortunately for the Time Traveler, this same Rodrigo had witnessed her appearance into this time and was convinced she was some kind of heavenly being, for which he was deeply besotted with.

All Isadora had to do was feed Marquess Rodrigo`s fantasies, seduce him and once the subject of marriage was raised, guide him into making a deal with House Oliveira. While she was at it, she would watch over and guarantee her grandparents' relationship.

Isadora looked at Rodrigo, sitting beside her. She had been quite distant from the old Marquess Rodrigo Garcia. She never had met him when living as Sofia Oliveira, for he kept his distance from House Oliveira once Duchess Alicia, his adopted daughter, died. While impersonating Monica, she only met him briefly and, for her, he was a stranger. So, with the revelation that her mother was not related by blood to Marquess Rodrigo, the Time Traveler did not see any connection between herself and him. Isadora was open to romancing Rodrigo, it was, in fact, something necessary.

As Isadora watched the Marquess, he kept glancing away, he was quite nervous and it was very obvious for her. Marquess Rodrigo breathed out as if reading himself for something, he cleared his throat and looked Isadora in the eyes, “Isadora, I’m in love with you!” he confessed.

Rodrigo was acting faster than Isadora was expecting, she thought she would have to wait longer and seduce him more before this point was reached. His sudden confession was, nonetheless, beneficial to her so, Isadora smiled, held his chin and planted a kiss on his lips.

Isadora could tell Rodrigo was surprised by her touch, and that he was quite inexperienced. He wriggled his arms around as someone not knowing what to do with them in this situation. As Isadora continued kissing him, she ran her hands across his arms, once she met his hands she placed them on her waist. 

Isadora parted Rodrigo`s lips and slid her tongue in. She could feel him melting at her touch and running out of breath. Isadora ended the kiss and rested her forehead on his. As she let him recover his breathing, “I was searching for reasons to stay, I guess love is a good one.” she said, keeping her Angel disguise.

Rodrigo smiled, “You are not going to regret it! I will make you the happiest woman in the world!” he declared.

Later, Isadora was enjoying some refreshments and tea. She looked at Maid Sofia, “So, how are things going with sir Bruno?” she asked her. The knight in question was currently standing guard outside the door.

“W-what?” the Maid was quite flustered, Isadora found her grandmother adorable.

“I noticed the way you look at him.” said Isadora.

“It-it`s…” Sofia sighed, “Is it that obvious?”

“Well, I do have a keen eye.”

“Do you think he noticed?” asked Sofia, apprehensive. 

“Oh, no. That one seems quite oblivious.” was Isadora`s answer.

“I-I see.”

“You two have that in common.” commented Isadora.

“Uh, What do you mean?” asked Sofia.

“It is simply that you seem to also be unaware of his feelings for you.” answered Isadora.

“What? Sir Bruno? Feelings for me?” Sofia was incredulous.

“Yes, I noticed how he blushes every time he interacts with you.” disclosed Isadora.

“He does?!” Sofia was surprised but also happy. “Oh, what do I do?”

“Well, since Sir Bruno seems like quite the shy man, you will have to take the lead.” advised Isadora.

“Me? Take the lead?” Sofia seemed reluctant.

“Yes, I found it can actually be quite enjoyable.” Isadora touched her lips, thinking of her kiss with the Marquess. She chuckled. What was happening with her, she wondered.   

“I’m not so sure…” confessed Sofia.

“Well, give it a try. Be brave. I guarantee it will work out.” recommended Isadora.
