Sharise, a literal werewolf, watching an enemy change into a more animalistic second form: “Getting a lot of ‘Professor Ratigan’ vibes from this.”
Characters in speaking order: Sharise (werewolf), Sam (werewolf), a random werecat, Taryn (none of the above).
Taryn is thinking of that weird pink lion thing from one episode of Sailor Moon R because her entire experience with fantasy fiction as a genre is half-remembered dubbed anime from the 90s.
Supernatural horror, but very few of the main characters have pop cultural awareness of supernatural horror so they keep pulling the weirdest takes out of nowhere.
This comic comes from thinking it'd be funny if most of my characters had limited fields of pop culture interest that didn't overlap with the genre they live in.

The characters in this series were re-cast as characters in my other comic project, Monster Knight.
These comics were drawn sporadically over the course of many years and were not drawn in story chronology order.
This is mostly an attempt to compile the many comics I've drawn with these characters in a place that is actually web-readable.
