as the night rolled the black car stopped in front of big mansion and a man in his navy suit off the of car. he was 6 feet tall, has brown eye, thin lip and sharp jawline. despite his handsome feature his face was cold, executing aura that make people shiver in fear to even approach. as he walk inside mansion, guard bowed to him and behind him trailed a man in black suit.

"sir Alaric, they have emailed the contract. do you want to take look?"

Alaric undone his coat button and said

"later and what about tomorrow meeting mak?"

mak check his tab and about to answer when someone jump on Alaric back happily

"brother, i miss you!!"

Alaric smile as he face toward a girl.

"ice, how old are you huh? jumping like child"

ice was Alaric younger sister. she was 20 year old with soft eye, black hair and radiating smile. ice spoke

"brother, how can you be mean to your cute sister?"

"i think you mispronounce word, it naughty not cute"

 a sudden voice interrupt ice and Alaric talk. they both look at the new comer and ice sprinted toward new comer with huge smile

"second brother, you finally come home"

wat smile as he hug his sister. he was 25 year old with black hair and soft eye. in between siblings Alaric was the oldest one. followed by wat and then ice.

ice currently is studding in college while wat is a famous actor.

Alaric look at his brother

"how come you are here? what about your shoot?"

wat look at his brother with teasing smile

"aww..is brother afraid that now mom favorite child arrived you will be forgotten?"

Alaric rolled his eyes

"everyone know who the favourite child and that definitely not you"

ice chimed in

"yeah that right, mom favorite is me"

both Alaric and wat shook their head yet their was small smile thug on their lip.

hearing the commotion, their mother soniya enter the room. she smile seeing her children

"what a rare site...my all three child is here..."

hearing their mother voice, wat smile and hug her mom. soniya look at wat worriedly

"ohh how thin you have become, dont they gave you food?"

Alaric chuckled and said

" mom he can literally cast as hulk and you think he thin?"

hearing this wat show his tonged to Alaric and said

"i prefer muscular word"

ice teased

"it called fat!!"

wat spoke defensibly

"oii, i go to gym everyday there no way i am fat"

hearing their bickering soniya chucked

"...stop you three and go fresh up and come for dinner"

soniya then look at Mak

"mak you also stay for dinner"

mak smile politely and said

"thank you mam but i will eat later"

but soniya didn't listen

"why later, eat with us? you are too thin you should eat more"

saying that soniya went in kitchen while murmuring

"now they kid, don't even care about that health. eating like bird"

while Mak shyly stood there, seeing this Alaric said

"now mom give final order, you stay for dinner."

Mak nodded.

Alaric then look at ice

"then i will fresh up and come for dinner"

ice nodded and left but before Alaric and wat go to their room, they heard footstep, a quite domineering foot step. they look up and see their father standing on stair. their father gaze on his both son but stopped at Alaric.

he said

"Alaric, come to my office"

Alaric nodded and his father left. seeing conversation wat whistled

"i dont know about mom favorite, but you are definitely dad favorite"

being called by their father either means they are in trouble or their some serious work, ending their peaceful joy"

Alaric rubbed his forehead

"mak cancel tomorrow board meting"

Mak hesitated

"but it important sir"

Alaric spoke

"i cant deal with too many old people , my dad is enough"

Mak shook his head feeling headache, forget about dinner he need strong coffee. seeing Mak expression, wat spoke

"you should talk about your raise in salary you deserve more"

Mak sigh

"indeed i deserve more"

wat chuckled and left to his room.

Alaric walk inside his dad office room and see him sitting their wile scanning some paper, seeing Alaric, his father put the paper down and spoke

"how business doing?"

Alaric seat on sofa lazily

"good, i guess"

Alaric father hesitated and then said

"that good but you should also relax some little"

Alaric look at his father, feeling weight behind those word

"dad, what it is? talk directly"

Alaric father sigh

"well you are turning 30 these year and your mother is quite worried about you "

feeling where this conversation going Alaric said

"dad i am not going on any blind date, if i feel like setting down i will tell both of you"

his dad sighed

"your mother arranged a date for you, at least you should try for your mother happiness"

Alaric said irritably

"your emotional blackmail wont work for me. even if you cry dad all i can do is give you napkin"

his dad show irritated face

"you brat...anyway there also one more thing i wanted to talk"

seeing his father serious expression Alaric spoke

"what is it?"

his father paused and spoke

"you know about rose pick house right?"

Alaric raise his brows

"that brothel??"

his dad signed

"that not brothel, it a matching organisation. people go their, see if they like someone and pay the fee for matching"

Alaric said disgustly

"dad changing the word doesn't change reality. there women literally sell themself to rich people, isn't it just modern brothel?"

his dad gave up and said

"there informagtion that thy are forcing women into this..."

Alaric become serious and he said

"and you fear they might hiding human trafficking behind rose pick house?"

his father nodded but then Alaric asked

"then why not inform police?"

his father spoke

"their involve very high ranking and powerful people without solid proof police wont to anything and...i am afraid there may be police involve in this. if we complain they might get alert and hide proof"

Alaric nodded understanding the depth of situation

"dont worry dad i will handle it"

Alaric father nodded with proud shining in his eye.

Alaric stood to leave when he heard his dad voice

"just be carful or you might end up with one girl in your arm"
