Ariea stood near the pillar seeing people decorating the stage and placing the chair. she wore a red dress which reach up to her knees. her hair was open making her look like doll.

Ariea signed and think "at least they don't make me dress like slut".

she then look her surrounding there lot of girl wearing dresses, western cloths or body cone.

some were cheerful while some were too quite.

Ariea eye roamed as her gaze fall on near by girl in pink dress maybe in her 20. feeling gaze that girl turn toward Ariea and smile

"new here?"

Ariea didn't respond as she keep looking at girl. that girl smile but that smile didn't reach her eye

"i am nine"

Ariea nodded

"Ariea. how old are you?"

nine spoke

"i am 21 this year and you? you look younger then me"

Ariea spoke

"25"

nine was shocked

"no way. you really look Younger!!. maybe it because of your face and height-"

Ariea glared at nine. she doesn't like when someone talk about her height. she not short ok? she just 5 cm less then 5 foot at least that what she think.

Ariea asked

"so how this even work...i mean this selling...?"

hearing Ariea word nine shushed her

"shhh you cant say that word. if anyone find out you will get in trouble."

Ariea look confused at nine, nine continue

"it call matching. in today event they will give each person a file which will contain our photo and data. if anyone like us they will bid and whoever pay high, get the girl"

Ariea scoffed

"isn't it just sugarcoating? changing word doesn't change the truth."

Ariea then look at her surrounding again and asked

"are all the girls here are willingly doing this?"

nine become quite and then spoke

"everyone has their own reason to be here. no one like to be called slut"

Ariea nodded in understanding when nine again spoke with lower voice

"let me tell you a secrete"

Ariea lean closer to hear

"some rumour they are doing something illegal behind this...they say they brough girls by kidnapping them"

Ariea said internally said "that not rumour" but she didnt said it and asked

"then why no one complain?"

nine look at Ariea as she has said most funny joke.

she laugh

"justice is for powerful people, only rich people can afford it"

nine then leaned more closer and said

"do you see that man? that talking with jes"

Ariea nodded

"he a police offer"

Ariea widened her eye in disbelief. nine continued

"even if there something going on, they hide it behind legal business. they show this as matching site and even made some rule to make world believe that the women here has right to choose and if there was a proof or someone complain they either bury the case or twist the case"

Ariea was really amused by how they cleanly hide all evil deed. showing this as matching or dating site , taking money as fee. silencing the evidence, she know this organisation is too powerful and indeed has backing of some powerful people.

she asked

"don't rich people know that? why don't they raise voice?"

nine was really amused my Ariea question

"not most and some who know are too greedy and lustful to object"

Ariea feel disgust hearing this, do they really think they own people life?

Ariea asked

"and what about the rule you were talking about?"

nine thought for while as she said

"ohh, it say that girl can reject or choose who she want. they can form contract with bidder if they don't want any physical relation but you know it just for show and...there also one for bidder...yes if bidder really want to buy and don't have money or just wanted to try you know like live in relation they can buy on hold term for 6 month, and after 6 month bidder can either own the girl fully or just pay borrow money"

Ariea feel shiver hearing last rule but then something pop in her mind and she smile "well that useful"

Alaric glared at his best friend Lucas.

Lucas chuckled seeing Alaric expression and said

"dont blame me, it was your idea"

Alaric glare become more intense

"yeah, i mean seceretry not your errand boy"

Alaric have disguised himself as errand boy of his best friend Lucas as he don't want any attention. this mere place was making Alaric disgust. he could literally throw up if some girl clinched on him.

Lucas chuckle

"well you wasted by precious day off and a plan of racing so you have to compensates"

Alaric supressed his anger, telling himself this was better as no one could look at poor person. he then look at his surround there lot of people wearing expensive suit yet their state of mind was poor. Alaric recognize some people and feel disgust.

Lucan also with same expression asked

"so what the plan?"

Alaric spoke

"we will first observe first. if we found anything suspicious we will investigate further"

Lucas nodded. as they were talking jes approach them with smile

"oh what a surprise to see mr celdwell here"

Lucas hide his expression behind smile and said

"well i thought i might see if there anything to my liking, i hope mr jes don't mind"

jes smile hiding his panic

"of course not mr caldwell, please seat. the event will start soon"

saying that jes left and whisper to one of his man

"keep on eye on this man. don't let him find out anything"

jes man nodded while Lucas went and seat on chair and Alaric stand beside him. Lucas causally pick the folder provided to them and flip but then he stop and one page. he look at Alaric and said

"hey, isn't she beautiful?"

Alaric look at photo, that girl has wavy hair, plump lip, soft black eye. she look too innocent to be here but Alaric know people are too good in hiding their nature

Alaric scoffed

"she just have good face not character, selling herself like that disgusting"

Lucas flipped one more page and froze

"damm why are they all beautiful? look at her such sweet face"

this time Alaric didn't look and said

"shut up and focus"

Lucas become quite, he glanced on name written in bold letter "nine" and said

"well if she wasn't living here i could have flirted with her, too bad some beauties are characterless"
